I had this game when I was 6 year old, still, never beat it, I almost did nothing, got to the second disc, then my mom sold my PS1. Wish I could play this once again, it's just perfect.

@RCInspireGirl If you played a FF on PSP and didn't get the full story or whatever I'm presuming you played FFVII Crisis Core in which case that's one of the few that isn't a separate story in its own right, rather it is a prequel to FFVII. The only other non-separate game I can think of is Final Fantasy X-2 which is a sequel to FFX. Other than that individual games should make sense.

@Detsurasu I'll be honest i prefer the way japanese developers made games for the 64 and ps1. This is one of the greats it has so much character that modern games lack.
FF-x has a way better storyline then this, i love this one too but X all with the good graphics, way ahead of its time, and the emotion in FF-X just astounds me.
In all honesty I DO not want another remake, sure the graphics that Square Enix made are amazing, but no doubt in my mind that Square Enix will change the game completely. They already made abundant changes to the game from advent children to crisis core. I mean it looks awesome but you can't deny they completely changed the whole game making the original game useless. I miss it when final fantasy was actually good when Square Soft had complete control. Now to me final fantasy is just graphics.

If they sounded any different I think I'd be disappointed but hey ho, that's just me hehe!

Just go to the PSN store and search for final fantasy XII It's only 10 bucks but if you download it to your psp it's only fair warning that I tell you it takes about an hour if not longer to download it to your psp memory card so I suggest leaving the psp on it's charger and it also takes up quite a bit of space on your memory card.

@comeondown12345 It's worth it to buy the PC version. Emulators and pirated versions ALL fuck up on CD 3, it never fails. I think you'll be shocked if you ever do a playthrough of FF7. The amount of ways there is to beat/complete/rage over the game is staggering. On launch day when this game came out when I was a kid I played it for about 30 hours straight on spring break. Best day of my life.

Well... this was unexpected. I always thought that FFVII's characters were as detailed as those from FFVIII. Honestly, these guys look like they're from Ape Escape. Hard to imagine that something considered to be the best game of all time looks like this. The pre-rendered backgrounds are in check but the characters still throw me off track.

@theww3abc They're doing a remake of FFX, which I know is a fan favorite. It's going to be on PS3 from what I've read. I'm definitely aware FFVII is an even bigger fan favorite, but unfortunately there has been no word of a remake for this game.

Anyway, I recommend watching my ''Final Fantasy 7 - Mabinogi Edition!'' videos (which I upploaded ad video responses) if you want the story without watching all the battles.
It's a lot cooler if you play Mabinogi and know how hard it is to get clothes like this!

@comeondown12345 FF7 makes FFX look like Chutes & Ladders. If this generation wasn't so concerned with their games looking like Avatar they'd realize there are so many classic gems. And when was reading a bad thing? If there was an FF7 book with all the dialogue it'd be one of the best sci-fi reads ever.

@comeondown12345 It's worth it to buy the PC version. Emulators and pirated versions ALL fuck up on CD 3, it never fails. I think you'll be shocked if you ever do a playthrough of FF7. The amount of ways there is to beat/complete/rage over the game is staggering. On launch day when this game came out when I was a kid I played it for about 30 hours straight on spring break. Best day of my life.

@dfoots LOL Awesome. The only good game i was addicted to on Playstation1 was tony hawks pro skater 2. But i never even heard of final fantasy untill i was like 13 so when FFX came out, i bought it, it was the best game i got for the ps2 haha. So for a final fantasy game for playstation1, must be pretty sick. And i didnt know you can get on PC? I doubt they still sell it though?

@comeondown12345 Best PS1 games, in order: FF7, Mortal Kombat Trilogy, Metal Gear Solid, Coolboarders 3. Those games controlled my childhood. And you can find the PC version of FF7 on Amazon.

me back then: rpg?!whats an rpg?!lol this was the first rpg i ever played!and after this i couldnt stop haha i finished the game but half of the stuff in the game i didnt even found out about...i bought the game again last week and im gonna play it to exaustion!!and ff8 too!!i only mastered everything in FFX wich is the easiest final fantasy in my opinion but my favorite...for now...thanks for the walktrough!

Well... this was unexpected. I always thought that FFVII's characters were as detailed as those from FFVIII. Honestly, these guys look like they're from Ape Escape. Hard to imagine that something considered to be the best game of all time looks like this. The pre-rendered backgrounds are in check but the characters still throw me off track.

i remember my brother and I stayed in this area until we were level 30 and cloud had climhazzard :) took a long time but it was fun. Legend of Dragoon is pretty good too look it up. Any one need any tips on this game let me know, im a boss at it, know it in and out

@theww3abc I think they are thinking about making a remake for the Play Station 3. I don't know if they'll definitely make a remake, but it's a possibility. It would suck for me though because I have a Play Station 2. :(

@theww3abc They're doing a remake of FFX, which I know is a fan favorite. It's going to be on PS3 from what I've read. I'm definitely aware FFVII is an even bigger fan favorite, but unfortunately there has been no word of a remake for this game.
