I already bought a Core i5 2500K, its about time you guys release bulldozer, at least hand a couple out to some reviewers, that way we know what to expect.. Also to those people saying Intel sucks, I disagree, the new Sandy Bridge processors perform amazingly, infact they easily out perform the AMD equivalent in most benchmarks.. But thats not to say that AMD Phenom II Processors aren't any good, they also perform exceptionally for what your paying..
@appleloveTK You forgot to mention that the AMD processors are far cheaper the Intel equivalent..
Personally I have an Intel processor simply because AMD is to bad at marketing the mobile processors to companies like Acer and getting their hardware into high end laptops etc...
For desktop users an AMD processor is usually far cheaper then an Intel one with the same performance but since you love Apple money has no meaning in the equation and you gladly pay three times the price for Apple.
@SquirrelFromGradLife Actually I have a PC running Mac OSX, I'm not rich, and I'd never pay a premium for apple systems.. I'm a web designer, which is why I prefer Mac OS.. But yeah I've got a Core i5 2500K, Z68MA Motherboard, GTS 250 512MB Video Card.. I built it myself, in fact I've also over clocked it to 4.5GHZ so far..
Yeah thats what I meant I bought the parts and assembled it myself. For me its just a personal preference, I like the Mac GUI better then Windows, but I do use Windows for gaming, so best of both worlds.. And yeah I do agree Apple does charge a premium, you end up paying a lot more just because it has an Apple on it =/.. And I'm not an AMD hater, I actually prefer AMD over Intel, I've always had and simply because price to performance ratio , but I have an Intel because I need to run Mac OS..
This is active 3D projection mapping. It takes atleast 3 sync projectors and decent active cpu and gpu power even though its scripted. AMD has really been doing impressive stuff lately, really been stepping up there game.
@dchains Same goes to those two companies. One never delivers their promises on time, while ome just degrading over time for the past year. AMD on the other hand, is actually improving with the driver quality. Quit spreading FUD.
@AvroBellow I know there fucking garbage you fucker. LIKE I SAID. This is most likely a video just be PROJECTED onto the building so a 10 year old INTEL processor could do this no problem. BECAUSE ITS A FUCKING VIDEO its not being done in REAL TIME. GET ME NOW FUCKER?
OH and just to let you know i run an ATI/AMD GPU and am fully aware of what there capable of.
@idleman5216 AMD notoriously fails at coding drivers properly, and even though i myself have not witnessed the driver flaws many have had issues with AMD's drivers for years.
maybe spend more money in trying to research better products instead? and oh... i almost forgot.... put more money in the drivers appartment for ur graphic cards. Oh hell, just fire everyone that is working on the drivers, because they dont work.
I can do this with windows paint!! Lol

@appleloveTK I am pretty sure you didnt built it your self... you bought and assembled the parts...
and I really do not understand why you prefer Mac OS as a web designer... but that just me...
and no I am not a Windows fanboy I am on a Linux system... its free and it works just fine...and it runs Adobe software like Premiere Pro just fine..
My original point was that Apple charges their customers three times the price for their computer compared to a pc..

MrAlways420time 8 months ago
i have seen better 3D Projection in my life
It was a clock tower with rain and the projection showed the inner parts of the clock and how they worked together
well it's advertisement

well due to the fact that this is just video playing on a wall im sure you could use an Intel GPU from like 10 years ago to do this.
thelasthallow 8 months ago
@thelasthallow Intel GPUs are absolute GARBAGE, even today. Go do something like read a book. It looks like you need to.

I really like AMD and im not a fanboy at all but Intel has BETTER technologies like hyperthreading and turbo boost(now amd has that too)
The con of intel is the price.
They change every time the socket and if i want to buy a new intel processor i need to buy also a new mainboard.
All in all AMD is better for gamers and intel for engineers.
1100T costs around 170 euros and intel 990x 850 euros.

@orkie55 Right go tell that to Intel IGP and NVIDIA driver teams, they all suck according to your definition of "work".
