F***ing Adverts! I will never buy or use any product or service from a company I HAVE to watch an advert for. Anyway, Amazing story even better photographs!
Seeing those intensely focussed sad intelligent eyes zeroed in on her passion makes me wonder about her experiences in Vichy France and how she must have read Michael Harrington's "The Other America". My bet is she cried over both; wish I had the honor of being her friend.
Mother Jones magazine did a nice write-up on her work in their May-June 2011 issue. An aware afterlife would be fair and reasonable here. Great hire, Phil!
Anyone who takes pictures for a hobby, especially candid photos of people, knows how many shots you take before you get a keeper. It becomes a learned skill and a goal each time you pick up your camera. It’s not easy, especially with film, when each shot is unseen until later when it is too late to do another. Great photos take great dedication, an eye for details. She had the skill and an eye we could only wish for. She was a gift to us all in a wonderful artistic way.
This whole story reminds me of every single musical artist that becomes a lot bigger after they die, except Vivan was never famous. I think she would appreciate what they are doing with her photography

I too have many pictures I've taken over the years, all sitting in boxes or photo albums. Some (if I may say so) are very good,at least in my eyes.
What inspired me was just plain Nature & History, love them both.

I am NEVER going to believe that on Undercover Boss the managers DON'T know the person in disguise is the CEO.
