Yes indeed. Get in contact with a local club for more information. The PGI (Pyrotechnics Guild International) is the largest origination with members all over the world. They hold one shoot a year that draws many thousands of people with their own homemade fireworks to legally shoot.

there is an explosive charge in the bottom. they stick the whole thing in a tube and light the fuse. the explosive launches it out of the tube and high enough for it to go off without causing damage.

Lots of small shells inside the main shell. Most are simply ignited from the burst charge of the primary casing, but for this particular shell I fused them all together with quickmatch.

a passfire to each, out of the five the first was ignited by the original explosion, and then the next two were facing each other with bp in the middle, then the same for the next two. so in all, two passfires for four of the shells, and one ignited by the original burst.
