I halfway agree, the iDJ charges the ipod though. We used to just use headphone jacks to RCA going into a mixer, but this thing is only $100 on Ebay. They're pretty reliable too, until a beer finds its way onto it. plus its got a mic jack, headphone jack and an Svideo out if you have videos stored on it.

Im not a Dj i just bought this for my bar. The ipod connectors dont work very well and I had to connect them through rca's most of the time. Everyone that plays here seems to be able to use it with ease. I switch between 2 ipods and 2 laptops and we never miss a beat.
