People.... It's three of the four Clover guys who played on My Aim Is True — that's the reunion, with Pete Thomas sitting in for drummer Mickey Shine. No, they were NOT Huey Lewis's backing band. Huey was in the band, but the primary writer/singer was the great Alex Call. Keys player Sean Hopper was in News with Huey. They were a GREAT band in their own right. And the late Dr. John Ciambotti was one of the finest rock bass players ever, as well as a wonderful human.
THe point of this is yes, Clover were Huey Lewis' backing band. But they were borrowed by EC to do his first album (My Aim is True) and HL wasn't on it so he's not on this. Anyway this rox!
This song is timeless.

Classic - Miracle Man's the next track on the album as well, so I expected it before they started playing, which is weird.
