Bono and Edge, I think - definitely Bono, are 20 years old here, while Larry is 19, the age of your typical college sophomore. I found the staging set up interesting - it kind of confused me at first - with Bono singing way in the back and Larry playing the drums in front. This is one of their all time best songs, and I read is a personal one for Bono, as it relates to the passing of his mother when he was a kid. Larry also later lost his mother, and Bono helped console him.

If this is from Get It Together it's not from their first Get It Together appearance - on that they promoted A Day Without Me and they definitely had a U2 backdrop in the background - it was terracotta coloured drainpiping that spelt U2. They had the same background when they played Leeds Futurama 2 on the Saturday in September 1980.

This is absolutely NOT live. It was unheard of back then (and now for that matter) for a band to play live on a TV show, especially a kiddies pop show. TotPs rarely had live performances, even on TOGWT, bands often used backing tapes.
