This inexperienced young woman wants to save the world with money. I understand her passion. There are many reasons why throwing money into a country will not stop this sort of thing from happening. It is far more complex than this woman's understanding. Put yourself in the position of the country's leader: consider now ALL of the things that need funding within your own country, and then, consider what is left over. This will almost always be a negative figure. This woman is idealistic .

Thank Christ for being able to view Peter Hitchens at any time due to Youtube. The brainwashing that goes on at my university by the mainly smarmy, know-it-all, liberal lecturers is clear to see. I'm studying Politics although I'm quite lucky in that at my university people like the vacuous middle class mess featured in the video are in a minority in most of my lectures- to the extent that when they begin wasting the groups time by spouting their bollocks they are usually drowned out by a wall of either laughter or refutations. I can't say I agree with everything Hitchens says but as an ex-leftist he really is a breath of fresh air. Good luck with your course.

@clipsryan I can prove that the political spin and angle of the teaching at my university and many others that I know of is very much of a liberal position. Many students who previously had barely any of at least very weak political views have had their mindset altered by the lecturers. To say that MOST conservatives are misinformed and bigoted is completely ridiculous and that just about sums up the attitude of 'know-it-all' liberals to anyone with views from the other side of the spectrum.
