@a11en1 AVG isn't best, it's slow, it lags, and it takes up a whole lot of processor space, though it doesn't really matter for normal users. - Defragmenting is good, but the more you defrag, the worst your computer gets (or so I heard). Just defrag once to clear/sort out your PC once in a while, and use a registry cleaner. Ccleaner being the most common application...

I've been testing the new beta of Firefox and I gotta tell ya...they've gotten much better. Being in beta its still got its bugs, but FF is getting better every time.

As for Opera, I wish their mobile version was good...it sucks. But the PC version is nice and fast.

It's just about as slow as the blackberry browser and the mouse doesn't move very smooth AT ALL (I have a non-touch phone). The PC version is definitely nice, but after having used the latest Firefox beta, FF will return to my top (sorry, but it's just so much more customizable).

No way, Opera allows you to position things where you want them (e.g I have my tab bar at the bottom of the screen) and I got a theme thats completely transparent, I'm sorry but Opera is the most cusomizable browser ever... plus with Firefox you need adons... :(

@BOS6940 In FF you can either choose personas (180k +) or actual themes (429) compared to O's 18. In the new FF you CAN move the tab bar (not as much as Opera I admit). Widgets are desktop apps, nothing to do w/ the browser. "Extensions" (398) are the same as FF's "add-ons" (5k +). Also, there are 3 options for the type of menu bar you want (if using Win7). For advanced users, there are even more customizable options in the "about:config" (which is larger than O's but MUCH more complex I admit).

@BOS6940 The speed of my firefox differs day to day but the new beta version loads in the same amount of time Opera does. The reason I had listed all that stuff earlier was because you said Opera way way more customizable...I was simply giving you proof otherwise :P I'm not a fanboy of any browser (not saying you said I was) as I use FF, Opera, and Chrome on a daily basis and have yet to choose one over the other (they all have issues somewhere). I just call things the way I see them.

Yeah I pretty much judge things by speed, personalization, errors, etc. and I find Opera the best I've seen, I use Google Chrome when using Webs (Opera is incompatible with Webs) but I use Opera for everything else, right now I'm using Opera too type this, and I guess your using Firefox to write yours...

Dude just to let you know spybot search and destroy is not a good program you should delete it right away. what it does is every time it scans it creates hidden files in every thing it scans (which includes your whole computer) and everytime you scan i creates a copy of the same file so it keeps adding and adding junk files wich in a short time will slow down your computer drasticly and take up a large amount of space on your harddrive. a good program is malware bites anitmalware to replace it.

Actually, it doesn't suck at all. AVG Internet Security <3. I have been using it for over two years now, and it has removed many, many viruses from my computer. I have used AVAST only once in my life,and believe me, after one month of using it,I have given up on it.

AVG Internet Security is a recommendation by me.
