  • Oh my God, first Joey Ramone, then Johnny Ramone and now Frankie Venom? Fucking cancer....

  • He was one of the best - ever!!!! Right up until about 1983 he was as good as they get. Iggy, Elvis, Jagger, Frankie Venom was right up there with them at his peak. He kind of lost the spirit after '83 or so, but for years he was just the best. You couldn't take your eyes of him when he performed. The best, man, the best!!! Loved him - and the Head too, of course.

  • name the song at the beginning of the video

  • The song at the beginning is 'Kissin' The Carpet'...one of their best, off the first album.

  • Hey Cherno...good clip man...

  • Been a huge fan of Head since 1980. Frankie was one of the best entertainers. I wish he as still alive, it's sad that he's gone.

    RIP Frankie

  • I sure hope someone recorded the last tour for a cd/dvd.

  • R I P FRANKIE

  • So sad :-( The day the music died.

I grew up in the 80s seeing this guy numerous times over the years from Larry's hideway to Entex to the Hard Ball more recently. He was explosive and really gave it his best. RIP Frankie !!

  • Great memories of spending time with friends in canada listening to Teenage Head. R.I.P. Frankie

  • he was living with my uncle's dad at the time, apperently he was a fuck lol

  • What a terrible thing to say. Frankie inspired loads of people, and if you have a problem, keep it to yourself. Tactless ass.

  • I'm sitting here shocked as I had no idea that he had passed away. After finding out he died in October I now realize I was out of the country on vacation. I remember the first time I ever heard Teenage Head I was 16 years old {1978} and I thought they were incredible.

How could you not like Frankie Venom and Teenage Head??....they kicked ass and they were Canadian!!!!

    Thanks for posting this video.....

  • the guys a fuckin legend

  • my cousin will allways be a great legend we will miss you frankie so much

  • I remember Frankie and I watching the Leafs together in that bar opposite the old Gardens. He was a straight shooter and a very warm hearted guy. He went out of his way to be kind to me, way back then. We lost touch over the years (I left Canada) but I've always remembered his kindness. Rock on Frank.

  • great, warm memories

  • thank you for the rock and roll, Frankie is one of a kind forever

  • Sorry, don't know Paul Star. It was very hard shooting this tribute to Frankie & only got people who were interested being on video. Lots of people passed because talking about Frankie on Sunday was just too difficult. That's why I'm not in the video myself.

  • How did he die, Chernozym.

I'm sorry to say I've only found out a couple of minutes ago...I'm writing from the south of Brazil.

  • October 2008
