itamasquerade, what you are saying is true, but it is also true that nobody really knows whats going on inside people besides themselves, and the only people who should really be typing you is you. saying you can tell others type, even if you are right most of the time, comes off as arrogant. the discussion is irrelevent; neither of you are all knowing. besides, the enneagram is not the only way to look at the world. it is not always right (if you choose to see it that way)

@sayhell0 Yes, I agree. Twos should be herded into trucks and sent off to special camps. Thank goodness for the enneagram - how difficult it would be otherwise to lump all the people we detest into large, easily recognizable categories.

I don't see her having a 3 wing. She strikes

me more as a 1x2 rather than 2x1. She mentions right away that she wants inner peace (9), and seems a little too earthy in her dress style, not that 1's

must. 2's are a bit more gushy or dramatic; she seems more reasonable and grounded. Mistyping is so common. She probably thought the 1 description was too harsh. But she did mention not wanting to let go and

people doing what they "should," and her obsessing. Very 1-ish.

Now, Tom Condon on the other hand should be interviewed by her. He would be an interesting 2 to study. I think she could just pick him apart if she had some time to prepare.

i think u have some patterns in judging typos and you're a bit rigid about it. being a 2 doesn't mean not being grounded or earthy, actually she strikes me as a 2, she's very much like a 2w3 i know. anyway the environment the child has developed in is very important, it can bring elements that are not the child typo characteristics. after all the typo is given by our inner motivations, not by the way we express our feelings.

Typo means mistake. Maybe you should consider what you say more. You didn't read what I wrote carefully. I merely made neutral assessments of her. My point was about MISTYPING. Analyzing things doesn't make people rigid. 3's are competitive & cunning at times. I don't see her that way. She seems more concerned about ideals & proper behavior. 2's have tart tongues & like to be cutesy. I see more 9 here. She's a soft 1.

my friend is studying the enneagram, so she knows all of the typos and she can't be mistyped, since she totaly found herself as a 2. nobody can tell smbdy's typo from a 4 minutes discussion. and u totaly can't say smbdy's typo from their attitude or behaviour, unless it's a certain situation where it comes out, which is not the case.

You're wrong. Your friend can study all the typEs 1000 times, but if she sees herself incorrectly, she will mistypE. That is why self-typing is a big problem. Many people see themselves wrong. U can't tell smbdy's typE, but I  CAN.

I've been studying 20 years & know things not in the books. Sorry. I also know other people who can tell people's typEs. If you study well, it's not that difficult. U are probably a beginner. [BTW Narcissistic doesn't mean worry about others]

TYPE = 1. specific people 2. example of something 3. printed letters 4. to keyboard writing 5. to categorize someone

ok ok.. I meant "type" all the time. but u can't just think that those who don't match your criteria are all mistyped, so that u can be right. and sometimes people see themselves incorrectly, but than they're more like "in doubt" about their type, not being absolutely sure about it.
