This was something that was added after his death and any book that contradicted that was burned in the council of nicea by the order of the byzantine emperor. No one would be seeking God according to Calvinism. Paul, you are right, there are some elect people, but Jesus Christ died for the sins of the world - not just the elect. The 1st servant has his debt forgiven (gains salvation) by the master and when he fails to forgive the other servant, he has his debt reinstated (loses salvation) and goes to hell at the command of the master. Once saved, always saved is a modern myth, Jesus himself preached against it.

The key is repentance. Unbelievers must repent, not only of their unbelief, but of all their sins. Repentance was the message of every Jewish prophet as well as John the Baptist and Jesus Christ himself (Matthew 4:17). The only reason repentance works is because Jesus atoning death on the cross.

Islam means total submission to the will of God and all the prophets brought the message of Islam to their followers and the prophets are Muslims because they submitted their will to the will of God. Nobody will have the power on the Day of Judgment but God and all the others will be witnesses.

Ohh yeah I will go to heaven because i killed lied cheated but I believe in Jesus so my sins are washed away. Muslim -I do bad deeds and believe i will be punished for them, Being Muslim does not protect me from punishment of God. God may forgive me as God is the Most forgiving or I might be put in hell for a time to clear me of my sins. if i truly repent but the fear of hell and damnation will surely motivate you more to be good in this world.

This was something that was added after his death and any book that contradicted that was burned in the council of nicea by the order of the byzantine emperor. Christians do not follow the rules set by Jesus. Instead they follow Paul. There were Christians that followed the teaching of Jesus but they were persecuted by those who follow Paul.

Read the History of Christianity "Friend" Council of Nicea was used because "Christians" were contradicting each other so a "ruler" decided which parts of bible to keep and which ones to burn. So the bible you have now is the bible someone decided that it was for you not Jesus. The original teaching of Jesus were destroyed "my friend".

My religion offers me practical ways of dealing with anger, however my religion also prepares me to stand up to the injustice whoever it might be against. LOVE will not always work my friend. Christ was a Hebrew and a Jew, he never once broke the Jewish law, He fulfilled it. Thus giving no reason for His death except atonement for the rest if the world. If what you're saying is true, that means things that were written about Jesus 600 yrs AFTER the events, are more accurate than that of which is first hand, eyewitness accounts??? No one thinking logically would even begin to consider the former over the latter.

TO MUSLIMS: Why do you not accept the words of Jesus within the Gospel, why do you follow a man (Muhammad) who came 600 years after the time of Jesus & His disciples, why do you follow a book that was created by uneducated people, why do you believe Muhammad was a prophet, Muhammad did not come from the prophetic line of the Jews. Why do you reject first century writings & eye witness accounts of the death and resurrection of Christ but you can accept 6 century Gnostic Mysticsm writings?

Well, why don't you accept the word of Moses instead of Jesus because he came very late as you claim that Muhammad came 600 years late and also there were so many prophets came thousands of years before like Buddha. Why don't you accept them? Well, there were prophet sent to may part of the world and they were chosen among themselves in their own language as well. If you carefully read the message of Buddha, it is not a very ordinary message and he could be a prophet too.

(S) How about the fact that his tomb was opened and emptied while Roman Centurion guards were placed in front of it. 500 eye witnesses saw Him after His resurrection. In a court of law, 500 eye witnesses is an open and shut case. And why would His disciples die proclaiming His resurrection if they knew it was a lie? Jesus the sinless Prophet Himself prophesied His own physical resurrection from the dead.

(S) He said His Kingdom is not of this world and gave His life over to atone for the sins of His people the way a High Priest would slaughter a spotless lamb to atone of the sins of Israel in the OT. Jesus is the perfect sacrifice as a sinless man. History and the Bible attests to the resurrection of Jesus.

@kuwaiti922 No it is not okay to kill..A Christian is to be like CHRIST the Lord! We are given grace but can not abuse the grace of God by continuing to sin. Jesus died once and what happened on the cross will never happen again. Christ will never die again...so keep dreaming..that grave in Medina Muslim's perpared for my Lord will not be put to use. The Lord Jesus Christ is the Lion from the Tribe of Judah!

Yes your Allah claimed in the Torah that He would protect His words..Muhammad claimed that the Gospel and Torah were protected and if there are any questions regarding the Quran Muslims should go ask the PEOPLE OF THE BOOK

@kuwaiti922 1) It tells me that you understand nothing about translation, or what it means.The Qur'an is not only in Arabic. It's translated into English, Spanish, French, German, etc. There are modern Arabic versions as well as the original.
Translation is a process of rendering something from its original language into a different language. It's no big secret. There are translations that are helpful for study (such as the King James, which is a literal word-for-word translation)

@kuwaiti922 I am not talking about translations of the Bible being burned I am talking about the original manuscripts being burned. Muhammad followers compiled the Quran hundreds and years after his death. As far as memorizing goes..his followers claimed that they had forgotten some of the revelations from Allah. Also the Quran was written on pieces of bones and leaves and dead animal skin and some of the revelations were lost! So the Quran is not PERFECT far from it.

Picktal translation, Abdullah Yusuf Ali translation..so if translations can not be trusted then neither can Quran translations. @kuwaiti922 All Bible translations say the same thing..though the wording might be slightly different. The heart beat of Christianity is the finished work of Jesus on the Cross. The Quran has not been perserved. Aisha the child wife of Muhammad claimed that a goat ate parts of the Quran. Also there are abogations and cancellations within verses of the Quran. The Bible has the original manuscripts in Hebrew Greek and Latin dating back to the 1 Century AD. The Quran Manuscripts come much later

Wouldn't that mean the original Quran would be availalbe if it was being protected better by Allah? Shouldn't there be a Quran form 600 or somewhere reasonably close?

For example, the King James version (17th century) will say 'Thou shalt' while the New International (20th century) says "You should". The meaning is the same. It is also the same as the meaning of the original. In this way, God's word can go to even the semi-literate.Muslims, believe that the Qua ran should be read in Arabic. People who are not educated enough to read Arabic are second class Muslims.

Qur'an was not just written down in papers but memorized and recited in mosques in each prayers and also the people including me are reciting the Qur'an everyday. Ishaq's Biography of Muhammad, Tabari's History of Islam, & Bukhari's & Muslim's Hadith, were used to reorder the Qur'an chronologically & to set its surahs into the context of Muhammad's life. These books can be found at your local bookstore! There are volumes of information and books on the early days of Islam, many very troubling! You should do your own research and come up with your own conclusions.
