- but the technology does exist. Don't you find it kind of weird that france and japan can move trains weighing houndreds of tons using eletromagnetic technology, yet that same energy could not move a tiny munition at greater velocity than conventional powder. such weapons are not in commercial production yet, but the united states have been using eletronic rail technology on an experimental bases for decades now.
- as to the last point might i reffer you to the you tube video on metal storm.unlike this weapon it uses powder with an eletric ignition system. they get the rate of fire buy stacking the munitions in the barrel and igniting them individualy. that same method I'm sure is used in this system.

Not really, metal storm still uses a chemical propellant, it just uses an electrical signal to set off the charge instead of a hammer and primer.

What a load of crap:
- Any device that propels an object forward experiences a recoil force backward, due to the action-reaction principle
- There is no electric gun in existence that can remotely match the energy release of gunpowder in the same form factor as a conventional smallarm
- There is no electric gun that can outperform a conventional firearm in terms of rate of fire
In short, the DREAD Weapon System is vaporware. And for what it's worth, I'm a gunsmith...
