v = 2.4s * 9,81m/s^2 = 23,544 m/s*3,6 = 84,6 km/h (end speed)

looked from video that fly time was about 60 frames and with 25fps it is ~2,4sec :P

An easy way to caclulate the speed (if you know the height):

Potential energy = kinetic energy

mgh (mass, gravity, height) = 0.5mv^2 (mass can be removed from both sides)

gh = 0.5v^2 (multiply by 2)

2gh = v^2 (square root)

sqrt(2gh) = v

Which, from 28m should make: sqrt(2*9.81*28)

And that equals to approx. 84.3768 km/h, with no air drag. If you ask me, air drag at these speeds is negligeble. Round off to 84, or perhaps 80.

And yes, you do go fast when landing from these heights! :P
