@Random95Matey it's kind of confusing at this point, he is using remote play for this, and sony announced at e3 that all ps3 titles will work on this using remote play, but so far, everyone that bought it in japan can't get it to work. my guess is that they will update it when the international release happens to allow it to play all ps3 titles.

Vita and 3DS cant be at war because no one would be put into deciding between them. For one thing the price range and tech is so different. The main thing is they are aimed at completely different type of gamers: the casual gamer/ 3D loving child versus A hardcore experienced gamer.

The games are not watered down versions of the console games they remade them entirely to incorporate the vita's features. The vita is on an entirely different level than all other portable systems.

Mayb the 3DS sales more because of pricing and because the demagraphic of the players are mostly young kids, nobody is buying they're child a $300 system for a chance of it being broken next week. Nintendo's aims for the kids Sony goes for H.S. and up. The PS Vita will be fine over time, I wouldnt by a PS Vita for a child. They would get a cheap PSP, or 3ds b4 a PS Vita and lose it at school.

@ray1sandman I disagree. My college friends and I play the 3DS quite frequently together. We think it's better than the Vita. HD graphics are quite boring now-a-days. There's nothing new. Been around for what, 5-6 years? the 3DS has much better graphic capabilities than the DS, and you can do so much more with it, plus the awesomeness of the 3D. It's very immerssive and effective on how I percieve gamplay with games these days. I perfer 3D over HD. And the Vita just looks bulky..IMO

@epiclight858 I understand and respect your point of view, but if you look at the gaming lineup to each system Nintendo does cater to the young, dont get me wrong I like the 3DS and i like 3D i have a 55" samsung myself and play 3D every chance i get but i would buy a 3DS for a child B4 i buy them PSV. But I do admit games like Mario Kart are very very fun to play, I just know i wouldnt use it as much as the Vita. Especially since i'll be able to connect to my PS3.

@stormage09 Prior to the vitas price anouncement, the 3ds price had been lowered by about 1/3 of the original price because the sales were shet!!. Sony was asked whether they intended to reduce the vita price for competition but they specifically said they did not price the vita relative to 3ds or any other devices but on its technology. It was also added that the people sony is aiming its vita at are those willing to spend the money. There is no competition with the 3ds u fanboy!!

Yes, it's been out for only a month, but even the 3DS sold more during the same time frame without the apps that it has now(web browser, e-Shop, etc.) AND the vita came out during the holidays, which spurred barely any saled for the Vita whatsoever. If you are choosing between systems, get the handheld that is in the best-interest of developers and will last longer. Need a hint? Get a 3DS.

@deanthompson88 Be aware that this is not a Vita game running native on the hardware, but the Vita using remote play (a feature also on the PSP).

It communicates with the PS3, basically turning the PSP/PSV into a display of the PS3. It was very limited on the PSP only allowing for smaller PSN titles to be played on the system. It's been expanded to include remotely playing PS3 games on the Vita.

In short you'd also need a PS3 for this function, and Vita games don't look this good.
