  • damn psychedelic !

  • WOW. This is ultra-rare! I mean, I've only seen the film once at an arthouse cinema in London years back and since its vanished into thin air!

  • Come Un Madrigale is so creepy....

  • ah...how did I know you would have this :) thanx a lot. This sort of stuff is pretty scarce in america...

  • The soundtrack has always been easier to get a hold of than the film. It's pretty cool to have something this rare on YouTube.

  • ohhh this soundtrack of Morricone is an orgasm for my ears, its amazing

  • It's fabulous! This is among my top 5 Morricone scores.

  • tipically seventies :):):) this sounds improvisation

  • Oh yeah, there's nothing more "early seventies" than Four Flies On Grey Velvet.

  • The movie had been digitally remastered here in the states, I have it, YAY! Got it at best buy!

  • Funnily enough even though I've seen this movie twice (back in the 70s) I'd never have placed the first track with the film! But I can definitely place the second bit of music - a superb musical piece from Morricone. It's a shame this film hasn't been released on DVD yet. Hopefully Argento and Paramount can come to some arrangement about the rights.

  • It's weird that this film has become such a rarity. Despite everything, it still has a classic status even here where I live (was released pretty early after the original run compared to other Italian films). Many people know it and have seen it but recently it has fallen to oblivion and that is a huge shame.

I'm glad you got the opportunity to see it in the 70's. Some Finnish film archives still have a copy of this somewhere, I think.

Track 2 is my favorite Morricone song ever!

  • In case you haven't heard yet, Four Flies on Grey Velvet was given a legit DVD release a couple of months ago. Definitely worth it if you haven't already picked it up.

  • Where do you find these amazing ost's?

  • BitTorrent or RapidShare.

  • BitTorrent is my salvador when it's about rare movies.

  • Not to sound religious or anything but thank God (not Bud Spencer's character) for the Torrent sites! They rule!

  • Indeed! I don't know about you, but since Brazil's a bad country for old, and mainly GOOD films, i have to go to these sites.

    And lol!

  • LOL!

  • Jälkimmäinen musiikki vaikutti omalaatuselta ja aika hienolta.

  • Spagettilänkkäreistä tunnettu Ennio Morricone teki monia ikimuistoisia kuorolauluja. Jos haet "Quattro Mosche Di Velluto Grigio" (löytyy mun suosikeista) niin voit nähdä kohtauksen jossa sitä kappaletta käytettiin.

  • I always go to you first for my soundtrack fix!

  • I appreciate that so much!

  • I'm dancin' around my living room, Joorum! I love this one!

  • HAHAHA! Awesome! I love that opening song. Especially the fact that it has absolutely no lyrics at all!

The second song is very beautiful and it turned the ending of the movie into a thrilling climax.
