  • I have wasted time on it thinking people would read my complex articles and long life stories, wrong. They did not. Waste of time. The reciprocation, is way too low for me. Knowing how the owners of it function, that there are many Jews at the top of it, a specific group of people who have unusual business, hegemony, and other behaviors towards others, for all these reasons, i spend very little time on it, I found deactivating too distancing from that group of people, but they don't get my time

  • I quit Facebook after three years. my lap top died on me and i realised how much time i had been spending on Facebook and how sad i became i realised i was engrossed in other peoples lives and what they were saying and doing so after thinking about it i pulled the plug on Facebook, the wave of relief came over me and felt so happy. back to reality.

  • One year ago i decided to try FB, I had it for 4 days. Why would I be there when I dont want to have any contact with former classmates. I also dont give a shit if someone is going to make dinner, going out for a walk, whatever. Who fucking cares... i read an article about FB and the writer said that if you dont have FB you will look like a stupid Dinosaur,, well i dont waste hours on FB so I am a free dinosaur

  • just deactivated my account and i dont plan going back. I might delete it after some time too. Its a huge distraction in life.

  • I deleted my facebook yesterday after two years and I feel better already! It was a complete waste of time. I don't want to hold an obligation to a social network or a computer. Facebook and other social networking sites can do a lot of damage.

  • The issue is not the media itself, more a question of how you use it.

We live in an age where technology CAN dominate our lives, finding balance, means taking charge of our own life and regulating the precious time we have to a maximum. If that means you have to go cold turkey so be it.

"If you have an addictive personality then better get addicted to something positive" maybe it should be called Crackbook and come with warning labels.

Don't blame the media it is a cop out.

  • been on it for 3 yrs im not addicted to it, but i do enjoy peoples status updates. plus i post jokes and observations everyday. not on lap top but through my iphone. i like it when people say that joke etc made them laugh onto way to work or coming home. or just had a shitty day. i did remove people who only posted crap about farmville or what stupid game they are playing. i also like to chat to friends on it. but i must go on it for 30mins a day or less. whilst waiting for somthing to cook etc

  • i never had a problem with facebook, never used it much and in fact did deactivate it when it turned out to be a complete waste of my time, reactivated it and have found that it serves as a great way to, in some small way, keep in touch... after all is said and done, nothing beats live action real human contact...happy to say that happens a lot these days...yay...much love...marshman

  • i was on facebook for about 3 years and i have found out that i have a fake life, stuck on the laptop everyday, reading the comments checking on the pics, pathetic. So now i have deleted it for the past 6 months and i feel much better. I am generally against on meeting people through that kind of sites. I totaly deny to accept the new age flow, cyber life and being locked in a room eating crup food. Nope!!!

  • @avonbathbianco I want to delete my facebook page too. Its very addictive. but all my family are on there and its such a good way to stay in touch with my family in South Africa. I just wish I didnt use it so much

  • @RobbieBobbyBoy

if you want to keep in touch with REAL family and friends - SKYPE is the way forward. At least you get to too see their face! Facebook is a pile of S&$%

  • Robbie i just whatch your youtube video today, and m wathing your videos but i started to love you man, donno whats wrong wid meh, just bcoz you are damn good looking plus you are such a down to earth guy just next door guy.

  • Yes....admitting this I'd like to say this is temporary, cause I don't want to be addicted to anything, I've reconnected with some old high school pals, and that was my intention. I just got a computer in October of last year, so there's allot to do. I choose Facebook over other things, I'm aware that the games on it like FarmVille have cost me time and shamefully money! Yet for me it's so easy to just dwell in virtual land than to face the reality. That's how I feel so sad and true.

  • Took me no time at all to figure out Facebook was a total waste of time, and I'd only spend 15 - 30 minutes a day on it. The ONLY good thing I can think of on Facebook is, it is a good way to find old friends you've lost contact with. Other than that, there is nothing. I don't care that you've had toast for breakfast, or you just went outside to have a cigarette, or took out the trash. (And these are the kinds of things people text) ?? Get a life.

  • yes.... i get lost in face space.....

i am going there right now!!

    ADD ME PLZ !!!! LOL

  • how did a question about facebook explode into a q@a fest about homosexuality. the two have nothing in common.....

  • I happen to be gay, so the homophobic and hate ridden human beings are always drawn to make comments...

Though it makes me wonder why these people even bother to comment... if they are so "hetrosexual" what are they doing clicking on videos that have gay, or homosexual on them..

  • My question remains unanswered. Please do not let those who judge even exist (like you said about books). It's unfortunate that narrow minded people have to be so ridiculous,

The topic was Facebook, not genetic disposition. Lets focus on the topic at hand. I am addicted to facebook. Anyone else out there?

  • As a straight person I have no problem with gay men - It leaves more pussy for me for a start.

  • how and why did you click on this video?

  • it's gay... It's just horrible. Just to finish this essay I had to give my friend my password and asked him to change it.

But I can't get rid of it!!!! because it makes school projects so much easier to communcate with.

I think, when I get back, I'm just gonna have to will myself to stop being on it.... it's sad

  • please dont use the word gay in the same sentence as horrible. gay people are not horrible or crap. we are a diverse and colourful community of people from every walk of life and do not deserve to have a word which describes us used in such a way. thank you

  • Well I deleted my previous comment, because I miss understood your reply.

I agree, a word used to describe a group of people should not be derogatory term. Tell that to blacks (ie, nigger), mexicans (and pretty much anyone with brown skin) (ie beaner)

I refer to 'gays' as one of two things: "homosexuals" or "queers". Gay means happy and is a synonym for stupid. that's how it's been since 5th grade and queer is legit term, men you like men are weird, i can continue my reasoning, but no

  • using gay as a synonym for stupid is not acceptable. Just because you have used it since 5th grade doesnt make it right. Your homophobic attitude is not welcome on my videos. if your going to use abusive language please comment elsewhere.

  • I'm not a homophobe, I just A) dont' respect people on the internet B) dont' care, cause I get shit because the color of my skin... people are actually afraid of you, people just flat out hate me

I still have the right to use whatever word the way I want to... I could call you a "the" if I want, it's up to you to interpret it how you want. Cause I interpret beaner as "hey, man, I'm an idiot"

  • I understand.. and it makes sense if yoru part of a minority group, you will understand prejudice.

I sent you something ot think about in a personal message, tell me what you think and maybe we can agree to disagree or maybe we can agree. and when you hear someone using the word like that you can correct them.

    Cheers friend

  • I realized after i posted that comment, the irony of this whole thing.

We are both in the same boat for different reasons,

I apologize. (I would shake your hand... but you're too far a way)

  • pleased to hear that we have come to an understanding! best wishes friend.

    Robbie

  • I understand what your saying, but its not right. young kids are picked on, and bullied in school because of homophobia, young men and woman are murdered all over the country every day becuase of their sexuality. You may think that its is a small thing, but it is all part of the problem.

  • there are hundreds of other words you could use. why should you use the word gay, its connected to homophobia and you know it.

  • I used to hate the thought of carrying a mobile phone but then discovered how useful it has been when driving alone a long way around the M25 every day. The rest of the time I kept it switched off whenever possible. I find Facebook very useful for reconnecting with long lost friends and also because I can introduce my closest but far away friends and family members to the practice by posting relevant comments and interesting quotes. Little expedients perhaps..

  • Just like you I deactivated my facebook after about 7 months on it. I just felt that it was taking up too much of my time and my study and also, that I wasn't connecting with people the way I wanted to. I reconciled with a lot of lost friends from the past but at the same time it was only a small chat every now and again when they would post on my wall. I prefer to have real friends that I can visit/see in person, spend time with! Plus, it just didnt feel safe putting my life out on the web.

  • i agree as soon as 0:58 came by. MySpace & Facebook. people get lost in their mind and create this fantasy world of themselves to boost a false sense of confidence. i am guilty of this. i've found it useful just because of human revolution. BUT... getting out in the real world and developing true friendships are what create true confidence. scary though. so many psychotic people. MySpace/Facebook are a good way to see a persons creativityt. anything not used in moderation of course is unhealthy.

  • too right we are all too lazy to make personal contact-scary being addicted to internet -period!!! xxx

  • i am tryin to hard to stop being on facebook....idk what is wrong with me! help!

  • I've been a member of facebook and myspace multiple times, I'm gone for good now. A solution is to join activity groups that your interested in, go out with people from work and go to pubs. I used to see some friends alot but I guess we simply grew apart over the years or maybe it was social networking that did it lol I don't know. I spend alot of my time with my family now I've grown older, they'll always be there my me and vise versa. I think youtubes great though for music, movies and info

  • LOL you DO have a sense of humour!

By now I wouldn't be at all surprised if there are almost as many people around the world addicted to RobbyBobbyBoy!;o)) And I can't imagine anyone with any brains ever wanting to disconnect either! It's all becoming like an addictive soapy as we await each week in anticipation for what comes next LOL

  • Never been on it, but I have been obsessed with Blogger though ha!

  • Am a good user to Facebook! It does take up a lot of time! But instead of always being in contact via cyber space, I always make an effort for those friends close to me, and call/text them rather than sending them a message via FB :) I do know they appreciate it a whole lot more...hope you ok darlin xx

  • Hey thanks for subscribing :)

I used to hate Facebook - I refused to make an account. But in the end all my friends were on it, using it to communicate with each other, telling people about get-togethers etc and I'm not one miss out on a good party! So I got it as a way to keep up with what was going on (and to make sure people weren't saying things behind my back!) I admit that now I check it regularly and often just waste time. But I don't think I'm brave enough to delete my account just yet.

  • I'm only on YouTube and waste enough time here. I'm becoming very disillusioned with YouTube now that they've become so commercial. Too many pop ups & adverts on all these partnered folks. It's becoming very irritating to try and watch the folks I enjoy following. Now, with all the additional censorship etc, I'm not sure how much more I can stand. Maybe if everybody boycotted for a week, they'd get the msg! Corporate America is a real bitch.

  • I agree with you! but they want to make back the billons they paid for it! haha

  • haha Robby... I check it daily so am i addicted? Actually im finding you tube better
