  • i bought one and really loved it so bought 3 more, I gave one to my brother and only one of them had any adhesive at all. I tried adding water to the ones that didn't stick by dabbing it on with a paper towel but that seemed to have no effect.

I wonder if I could just stick it with something else though? Anyone recommend a weak adhesive I could use for this that would be suitable? The bottom side of mine has lost its stickiness when i accidentaly pushed my mouse against it lifting it up.

  • Hmm, this is kinda opposite to what i have seen on other review video on youtube D: I wanted to buy this pad for rat 7 and now im not so sure about this...

  • @plplplplomg Don't worry about it. The kid just didn't put water on it. Get this mouse pad, best I've ever used. And although I don't have the rat 7, I hear that it tracks great on this.

  • @l0rd0f0xygen nah, beside this problem i also encountered second one when researching. On good pieces with glue that actually works it becomes so adhesive after month or so of usage in one place that you will remove only half of it from the surface when you try to pick it when other half will stay on desk and it is hard to remove these remnants and pad will be broken, full of clearly visible transparent dots.

    Ill definitely avoid this pad.

  • @plplplplomg Sounds to me like a defective product, but I see what you mean. Have you looked at steelseries mousepads? I've never used one, but I here they are great and everyone I know who has them loves them.

  • If everyone adds water how do they do it? With a sponge or spray or what? and how much water. Mine stopped sticking completely and out of the blue...

  • put water ... works for me

  • I bought one a couple of months ago and it sticks perfectly to the desktop. I have re-positioned it a few times to get it to fit perfectly and it is now great. So good I bought another - and that one HAD NO ADHESIVE on the back at all. Same with the replacement (from the same shop). Comparing to the one I have that works it seems like a bad batch. And water does not help.

  • you must add water retards!!!!

  • Add water

  • Mine actually sticked so well that I had a hard time removing it from my desk. After I removed it the desk was covered in glue which took me one hour to clean.

  • Don't buy this mousepad if you're going to put it on a lot of surfaces... If yours does have the sticking it will not stick anymore if you have sticked it about 10 times.

  • Thumbs Up, I especially agree with the part about Darth Maul! Could you possibly extend your research of the Razer Sphex into including battles between Wolverine and Yoda. Or maybe Spiderman and an Imperial Walker?

    Thanks.

  • happened to me 2 f###ing useless product

  • i just got mine now and it doesnt stick

  • Oh yea i have the mousepad too i had problems with it first too

But now.. yea now i just dry it with water on back and then put it on wood table BUT CATION!!!!! THIS MOUSEPAD HAS 1 negative thing the splints from the wood table can have a risk to sit on the back of mousepad after use.. :i

  • Lol Guys

Look the only thing u can do is take a toiletpaper or so

with water and then dry it over the back

    and there u go

    it sits PERFECT ^^

  • I got the exact same problem and and I'm pretty upset about it

  • It does stick, just let it lie for a while and use the mouse on it. Although I would get the SteelSeries QcK instead.

  • You guys probably got used ones... Mine STICKS! Get a can of 3M Adhesive spray at home depot and spray the back.. DONE.

  • well that definetily is an error cuz it has to stick atleast a bit to you fingers..but yeah i've had mine for about half a year and after having my dad accidently ripping it OFF...it no longer sticks...it sticks less to the table that to my sweaty hand...

  • fck.. I jz bought it today and mine happened too! Fck!

  • mine worked not bad but it was over priced for a thik sticker

  • Same problem my didnt stick so i bought a sttelseries QcK instead and im very happy about it ^_^

  • Herp derp.

If you still have it, this is what you do...

Lay it down placing one edge down first, and pressing with your palm from that side to the other.

  • lol i rather have the kabuto

  • I had the same problem as you with my Razer Sphex.. I simply had to use the stickers you got inside the box and glue it together with table. Actually worked out.....for now

  • I just bough one aswell and I got the EXACT same problem.. Extremely annoyed.. Dunno if there is any solution.. Quess I just have to find something to make it glue...

  • You're supposed to apply pressure over the surface of it and it will suction to your desk. Mine works fine.

  • I hope my goliathus won't fail as band as that :S

  • Exact same problem as you mate, this product is just a straight up fail. Ive tried putting mine into a wooden desk, a glass plate, a plastic surface and even my wall. None of these options made it stick, we gotta just realise that Razer have become like Activision, money greedy people that wont test out their stuff properly before selling it.

  • Then it must be good for you because yours worked.. Mine didn't. At all. Returning it to the shop now..

  • onto* ^____^

  • After one week left corner of mat peels of... Question for Sphex users- Can I use water to clean the sticky part? Maybe this would help.

  • @Maciejkonek

ja wogole nie mialem zelu i pokropilem stol odrobina wody i trzyma sie super ;)
