there's no way in hell a live drummer can catch up with that drum programming, this is new jack swing, drum machine sounds run too fast, but that guy in the back with the sticks is doin a good job fakin it
That "soft-gay-straight guy look" was the shit back in the day, i remember every male artist i had crush on was soft & feminine as hell, but hey, that was the time for that, their kind of bringing back the soft guy look with the skinny jean craze, lol!
I'm About To Date Myself By Saying This But These Ladies Still Got A Brotha Feenin' After 23 Years. DAMN :-)!!!!!!!! That's Right I Was Only 8 & Feenin'!
Such a big fan, back .in 85 first time I heard RFTW.Still clasic music.I still bang this classic today. This when music was fun,and people used to dance.
I felt sorry for Ready For The World and their third album "Ruff N' Ready". It was a great record, but was overlooked because of what came out on MCA Records in 1988. They were up against Eric B. & Rakim's "Follow The Leader", Guy's self-titled debut album, New Edition's "Heart Break" and Today's self titled debut (Motown was a part of MCA at the time). Basically, they didn't stand a chance!
If anyone has this album in their collection, dig this one out and play it from start to finish!!!
@MyJunior1975 That was also the year of Bobby Brown's Don't Be Cruel album came out on MCA, which sold nearly 9 million copies; but now everybody acts like they never liked him. I guess ghost where buying those albums.
@Yobachi2007 I don't know how in the hell I skipped that one- thanks for reminding me. But it's sad that people are distancing themselves from him over Whitney Houston- when they always knew he was with her and what he was doing with her.
By the way, Ready For The World's album should have been up there with those records I mentioned, but they were up against some stiff competition. MCA Records should have released "Lately" as a single, as much as it was played during quiet storm hours, LOL!
they might have stopped ripping off prince but this video sorta reminds me of something michael jackson would do but I still love rftw (and im not sayin they are rippin him off)
some one plzz get this vevo shit off here they messing up real music and yes iam a young one only 28 yrs old but knw my history abt real music vs this bs made today!!
