Also, just realized this kills the windows live option. You only get the choice of reloading your saved local profile or starting a new one. Small price to pay to be able to save your progress. When the Windows Live thing gets fixed, I can always re-load and start again!

It took some work, but I finally got this to work. The second option in the rar file worked for me. Need to ensure you delete all the similar named files in the game and then replace with the cracked ones and add the other files (dll's) to the game folder. You'll know that it worked when you start the game and it shows game save feature is enabled. Also, you need to go into "Options" at the end of every game and save your profile before exiting (doesn't seem to save automatically upon exit"

I already got it fixed

I reinstalled GFWL

and started dirt 3

created a new account in gfwl

and then quit the game and recopy the

old GFWL files and savegame over the other

and it works just fine :D
