  • Nice car

  • thats called a ford xe/xd falcon here in australia

  • this granada is off the bloody hook!!!!! jeeeeeessss... i could watch and hear it all day long!!!!!

  • The European Ford Granada is a much cooler counterpart than its american cousin...same thing went for the escort in my opinion....

  • fuck my old boots my dad had one ov these but it coldnt pull the skin off a rice puddin good goin pal sweet granny

  • Holy smokes!!!!!!!! This and the Blue convertible Granada in a UK TV advert are some of the best out there, ta4postin :)

  • in 10 seconds?!!!! kwel.

  • Compomotive MO, 5 spoke, 16" diameter

  • v8?

Is this in retro ford magazine?

  • It was in retro ford a year or 2 ago.

  • Are u a dark haired bloke, not exactly small for want of better description?!

    I love granadas.

Have u seen the american versio of granada/ mercury monarch?

    They look awasome aswell.

  • Hello,

Can everybody tell me what type (brand & type) wheels are mounted on this NICE Granny?

  • Compomotive MO's

  • i watch this most times im viewing.I just wish I had the money to do the same.

  • Left It For Dead Man ! ! ! I Have A Ghia X 2.8i

  • VERGACIÓN!

  • Yeeeeah. God ol FORD POWER with upgrade Wee

  • And I don't think that all cortinas have live axles as standard huh!

  • They did, gimp

  • You mean that it has got leaf springs?

  • No, it uses a 1 piece axle. Although a lot of cars/vans with solid rear axles do use leaf springs.

I am using coilovers ( shocks/springs combined ) on this car, and a 4-link to mount the axle.

The car did originally have independant rear suspension, similar to a Ford Sierra.

  • What do you mean when you say live axle?

  • A live axle is a solid rear axle.

Like MK2 Escort, Ford Capri, Ford Cortina.

    Not an independant rear suspension.

  • So it's an LS1 engine afterall, isn't it?On what car was the engine originally installed ?

  • The engine is bits of everything now, but it's based around a 2001 Camaro LS6 block, with lots of aftermarket bits bolted on :)

  • Yes, its based around an LS1.

The car used to have a Ford Cologne 2.8 V6 and 3 speed auto.

  • eh a.q. bu ne yaaa ucak mi, araba mi belli degil...

  • yok böle bir icattt a.q. bu ne ya

  • =O OMG!

  • mmmm.... sweet! i love that car!

  • FUCK ME!!!!!!!!!!!! That is one amazing Granny! I all sounded fast when I read about it in "Retro Ford" magazine but actually seeing it in action! Words escape me! Well done that man for building it!

  • T56 hearbox, and Ford 8.8" live axle with a Torsen diff

  • what gearbox and diff is he running thats what i want to know

  • that seat had a quicker start but it had no chance against the granada

  • I think its supercharged or turbo'd now too! Madness, but what a legend. FORDS RULE!!!!

  • Wish my Granada was THAT quick.

Can't imagine his transmission lasting too long !!!

Very impressive from a big, heavy old 'Q' ship (Wolf in Sheeps clothing).

  • Its been 6.3L for a while. Straightliners clocked the standing mile at 187.8mph in July 2006

  • its a v8 5.7L LS1 engine, it has been seen to do over 180mph. truly awesome classic motor.

  • is that a V8 in that granada?

  • stock they are v6's but i dont know about this one

  • the dogs bollocks!

  • omg i fuckin love that granada! if i was there i would have left a deposit on the beast(talking of beasts love the plate!)
