nope...most of those kids have graduated. Those who had not graduated, danced on our bhangra team, ibhangra or didnt dance. Next year were trying to get everyone together sooo watch out!! hopefully from then on we will have one name so this isnt so confusing!!
But having a homefield advantage doesn't change what the dance teams have to offer in choreography, dance styles, theme, or anything else. So how would having a homefield advantage help the other teams?
Having a homefield advantage does matter -- the whole crowd reaction and everything was noted in the judging -- aka X-Factor. And believe it or not - judges play off the crowd's reaction. They're human too. In terms of choreography and dance styles this team definitely could offer more than some of the others, i.e. Rutgers -- who were basically all-flash and no real substance.
Yes, but at the same time more than half of the people that are cheering for a specific team aren't actually cheering for them because they were good, but because they knew someone on the team. And in competitions like this where colleges are competing tons and tons of people come to support their college's team. So if the judges actually judged well then they would know that the crowd's reaction shouldn't matter much.

And I'm not saying that this team didn't have great choreography and dance styles because they were extremely good, but I don't think that they necessarily "owned," Phillyfest.
And in regards to SAPA, yes, they were very flashy, but so what? They did great anyways, and plus that's their style and they shouldn't have to change for anyone. Sure, they did have a couple of technical problems and they were kind of unsynchronized at times, but when it came down to the choreography and the way that they really understood the beats of each song to make so MANY great movements and to make each of those movements flow so well was truly awesome. And not many groups can do that.
what are the songs names? i really like the first one but i can't figure out what it is

This kids owned Phillyfest -- East Coast had shit compared to them. At least these kids know how to dance.

They didn't even win so how could they have owned Phillyfest?
x33Ash 4 years ago
They owned because the other teams had a "homefield" advantage. If it was anywhere else I guarantee you they come out on top. Guarantee it.

but still, the audience didnt choose.
