Pujols has incredible mechanics. His swing is the ideal swing and his body motion is just perfect. It enables him to perform a very strong power swing and to make great contact. The guy only hits 40HRs in a season not 73 like Bonds or A-roid who hit 50 HRs two straight seasons.

I consider Pujols to be more of a contact hitter than a power hitter. The guy hits .300 EVERY season. He is the leader in Avg of all active players. He also averages a VERY LOW 63 SO per season. The guy is a natural.

joe mauer has the ideal swing. pujols if you hear me out, is a freak of nature. i believe that he is clean, and hes so big, that his stance works for him. i would not teach my kid to swing like pujols, i would teach him to swing like mauer.
