Some men really ARE that good, and Thomas Monson is one of these perfect men, like Job was, abounding in the grace of Jesus Christ. Just study his life and you will see that it is the truth.

It seems like you are trying to draw a line where on one side - you have good, and on the other side you have bad. Who on this earth is good? There is no good but one - God. The only one who can offer grace - because all fall short of the glory of God - and NO one can fit the standard God sets, except God Himself.

When one enters into an agreement with Jesus Christ allowing him to be an advocate with the father, ones sins are washed clean through his blood. Some call this, "The Atonement." and some call it, "The Passion"
If a man can not be perfected in Christ, they why create the conditions for man to repent?
All fall short of the Glory of God creating the need his sacrifice.
"It is the celestial glory which we seek. It is in the presence of God we desire to dwell. It is a forever family in which we want membership. Such blessings must be EARNED"
So have you earned your salvation yet? How will you know when you have? So Jesus has nothing to do with it, its all what you can do? I do not see where he said the Grace of Jesus has anything to do with it.
Christ said Himself that He resides in our hearts.
Stop looking for the answer in men. Men will always let you down. Stop looking for Salvation in a Church, you'll find it not, they have their own agenda. When? Oh' when will you get it?
If you haven't found Christ where you have been searching...why do you continue to seek Him there?

It does not seem like you listened to the whole thing - because at the end he said that Jesus make people overcome sins.....
What gives God more glory, that Jesus takes over and changes a person - or that man can controle some things, and seem nice on the outside?

Any man or woman are perfect through the atonement of Christ. Christ commanded mankind to be perfect in the New Test.
