i think carrie underwood sings better live, kelly sometimes goes a bit flat live (especially when singing since u been gone!). but she's still a great singer!

you got to take into consideration that SUBG is 100 times more harder to sing than any of carrie's songs which are all middle register, melodic, pop-country songs. In SUBG, she starts low, goes high, does that high note in the bridge, while also jumping up and down. Carrie is singing a simple, yet beutiful song, standing on one spot. It's harder to sing kelly's songs live.

Carrie was flat in the CMA's singing Before he Cheats. And that song isn't hard to sing. I'm not saying Kelly is perfect, but carrie messes up a lot as well, in fact all singers messes up as they are humans..Unless you lip sync..Anyways we can all conclude that they are both talented.

The only true Idol there is! I've always wanted to see her audition and after seeing it here I realize that she was meant to become a huge successful artist. She's so dorky and adorable, just gotta love her! Kelly rocks!!!

On a side note, Paula looks weird here, not really feeling her hairstyle back then lol. Thank god she've been looking better in the more recent seasons of AI.
