  • Can you spare it? Normally I love your work! You have put out some awesome video clips. In fact I am considering going to some maritime academy somewhere as I am becoming interested in becoming a Marine Engineer myself. But this clip? what the hell? its WAY too short! You could do better than that! Please nest time you should board her, get a longer clip. Thanks!

  • Can you spare it? Why too short? Just as we are getting "oriented" its over! You have done some awesome work on your clips and have inspired me (if I can afford the trainning) to get into the field of marine Engineer myself. But this one is way too short!

  • I know its a bit short, unfortunately it was all I had at the time when I poted it. Put check out my other video from the Soroe Maersk, it is much longer.

The best of luck with your career as an Engineer, should you choose to embark on it.

  • From philritter21:

Are we actually hearing each combustion? Or is it just the sound of the reciprocating machinery?

  • Sorry Philritter21, I accidentally clicked "remove" on your comment when I wanted to "reply"...

But yes, it is the actual combustion in the three cylinders closest to the camera that we are hearing.

  • This thing has a redline of about 100 rpm.

  • Yes, you're right. Maximum rpm is limited to about 98 rpm!

  • music!

  • Music? The sound of the main engine is more than enough Music for me ;)

  • This clip is good but way to short!!

  • Thanks for your comment! Yeah, I also regret that I didn't shoot a longer video :) I will next time I go out sailing.
