very seldomly do we find surprises like these on the net....love it....and after listening to Mick's voice for over 40 years on an almost daily basis, to me there is not a fraction of a doubt, that this is the man himself...he owns the song, he can sing it any way he pleases....just like Dylan always changes his own songs, sometimes for the worse, oftentimes for an interesting new version...

Very funny that some people think this is not Mick Jagger! It's from an album called Symphonic Music of The Rolling Stones. A project by legendary producer Chris Kimsey and includes Marianne Faithfull, Michael Hutchence. Jagger recorded this in Los Angeles. The story goes he didn't liked it at all, not until Keith said it was the best Angie he had ever heard!

You are wrong Rambo. That is clearly Mick singing. I prefer this vocal performance to the one on the album version. As famous as Jagger is, I still think he is one of the most under-rated vocalists of the rock era. Narrow minded critics tend to judge singers by traditional standards. So, they are critical of non-traditional singers like MIck Jagger and Bob Dylan. But, the unique and unorthodox style of those singers is what makes them so great. No one can do what Jagger does. He stands alone!

I never knew when this was recorded, I accidently downloaded it many years ago, when i was 10, I downloaded it, then left it on a very old computer, just managed to get it off that computer (by floppy, had to split the song in 2, then rejoin on my computer, the process didnt affect the song in iany way :) )

I know in iTunes you can set start and stop times. And then, depending on your import settings, you could actually re-save it (right-click the song and select "Convert to MP3..." - Like I said depending on your import settings you might have a different filetype set) and once you save the "converted" version it will just clip off the start and stop times you set.

As I told another guy, you can download YouTube audio tracks on a few websites out there now.
