I love this band. I'm from the Twin Cities (Minneapolis/St. Paul) and remember watching them with other bands like The Replacements and Husker Du at the Cabooze, First Avenue, the Longhorn and other places. Every weekend, you decided which of the bands you wanted to see and if your ears needed a break, you went and caught a Prince show before he became famous.
What's cool about these bands is that they didn't relocate to NY or LA and stayed home. You can still see them play around town.
You know what is really bad in my case? I live in the area too and I have only seen them once and that was only 2 years ago and that was at a small show at the Myth with Cyndi Lauper. And when I say small I mean it in the building that night maybe somewhere between 500 to 750 I'm not sure but it wasn't that many.
Seen these guys in the summer of 93'. It was them, spin doctors, and screaming trees. Awesome concert.

I saw them with Collective Soul and Matchbox 20.. 15 rows up off center stage ...... perfect ..........one of the best concerts I have seen

Such an honest band,they had a massive hit with Runaway Train but the catalogue has so many gems in it. Great band.
