¡Felicitaciones Santiago!
man, it makes me wanna cry...so sad... (i think though, that i prefer a different lead instrument..(a trumper or clarinet)...but i'm not sure yet..the bandoneon is more tragical..
does anyone knows where can i find it in record? i want a really good version...
There is a great version played by the Orquesta de Tango de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires. The CD is branded "En vivo en el Colón". There you can find great version of many tangos. Give me an email adress and I can send you.
bingotheraccon - YES, you are the only person who is able categorize this beautiful song correctly "so sad and still it's glamorous" "like an old movie". These were my exact words when I first heard this song in Oct'92 (NYC). You are very perceptive and understand FINE music. Kudos to you!
Bella interpretazione!!

I don't think anyone should have coughed during this beautiful performance--everyone should have been holding their breaths.

I won't listen to just anybody playing Piazzola, especially Oblivion, but you nailed it. You guys ROCK! Santiago Cimadevilla,
the Liepaja Symphony Orchestra (Latvia), conductor Imants Resnis, BRAVO!
