Not true. Thorpe Park is located very close to households and towns, and like many other UK ammusment parks have a height restriction law in place. They would never be able to build anything to the extent of Kingda Ka. Permission had to be granted to even build the very height present in Stealth.

Intamin, the designer of both Kingda Ka AND Stealth, is from SWITZERLAND.. not Germany.

B&M us from Switzerland but Intamin is from Lichtenstein wich is small country between Switzerland and Austria! And Intamin is the actually the manufacturer off those rides, but the "Designer" is Ingeneurbüro Stengel from Germany! (look it up in wikipedia :P)

kingda reaches faster speed, but stealth has a much quicker acceleration than kingda ka and it reaches 80mph in 1.8secs after it was updated, i believe its the 2nd quickest accelerating coaster on the planet and will drop to 3rd when germanys new ride is built, kingda ka isnt even in the current top 5 accelerating coasters on the planet, sure its the biggest speed, but accelerating is where the real thrill nd force lies and in that league, stealth is certainly the better 1

Stealth never got upgraded, they used to measure the speed from the start to end of the launch track, and now they measure it untill about half way when it lets go of the catch car "hence the clicking noise" so it was just marketing..

I think it's funny how everyone thinks this is the most intense ride ever. It's not even half the height of the Top Thrill Dragster or the Kingda Ka (which are two very similar coasters to Stealth, but both were built before it). It's actually the same height as the Magnum XL-200 at Cedar Point, which was the tallest roller coaster in the world when it was built... in 1989!

No, stealth is more intense. 122 MPH (TTD's average top speed) devided by 3.8 seconds (TTD's average accel time) is 32.1. 128 MPH (Kingda Ka's average top speed) devided by 3.5 deconds (Kingda Ka's average accel time) is 36.5. 80 MPH (Stealth's average top speed) devided by 1.8 (Stealth's average accel time) is 44.4. Further more, you get more air time on Stealth then you do on TTD or Kingda Ka.
