  • Definately my favourite scene from the film. So fucking gold.

  • am i hypersensitive?, ..well il just drink from my flipflop!

  • Give me some Everest

  • @Stormlord1975 who gives a fuck man?

  • by far my favourite scene. ever

  • BE A MAN Herzog.

  • hypersensitive means you're allergic, fyi

    it doesn't mean you're overemotional

  • @minmotstand It actually means both. It depends on how you apply the word. For example, anti-socials are rather hypersensitive, that's where the mistrust comes in, the inability to maintain a suitable relationship. But yes, you are correct about the allergies.

  • WHERE ARE YOU MOUNT EVEREST

  • Even though he was supposed to be a dark character in this movie, he totally cracked me up throughout the whole movie.

  • where are you mt everest? give me some everest.

  • This scene cost $23million to make. They had to time everything perfectly and get it right in one take.

  • If Larry Clark had directed this Herzog would have been drinking cough syrup from a bruised 15 year-old girl's ass crack.

If David Lynch had directed this, he would have been drinking cough syrup from a coffee mug in a midget's hand.

If Oliver Stone had directed this, he would have been drinking cough syrup when he was suddenly assasinated by Cuban exiles.

If Spike Lee...aw, fuck it. I quit.

  • @kakonis BRILLIANT!

  • i tried that today. i got some everest..!

  • This was in the related videos of a Jason Bermas video. I recognized the thumbnail immediately and clicked, Julien Donkey Boy is brilliant!

  • The whole atmosphere in this movie is disturbing. I think, Korine made a genious movie.

  • "Give me some Everest".

    Funniest shyt.

  • i wish Werner Herzog would punch me in the throat.

  • nothing but the codeine

  • DXM is the mind altering substance in cough syrup, not codeine.

  • codeine is a prescription cough syrup that is different than dxm, it's more like a pain killer where as dxm is more of a dissociative psychedelic.

  • i love how he drinks out of his slipper.

    herzy ftw.

  • dude, don't be so hard on yourself - your dick isn't dumb! I bet you've got a really smart dick. like, the Einstein of dicks. I wish I could talk to your dick about the economic crisis. I think your dick would have really good ideas about how to get out of this mess.

  • HAHA! So witzig!!!! werner Herzog is giving me some good ideas!!!!!

  • "Oh god......it didn't hit right..."

  • Haha, gotta love this man ... ;-)

  • I have absolutely zero idea what the hell this is but my god it's hilarious!

  • haha, gimme some everest too! Damnit!

  • Werner Herzowg Rulezzzz!!!!

  • This is one of the best films ever.

  • Something about the dialog and the way everything is candidly shot makes it seem more realistic... but i know it's prolly just goofy fiction

  • i love closed minded assholes like yourself, fabio254...they make commercialism go round

  • If you understood the complex absorbing concepts of alternative cinema and the rules of Dogma 95 then you would be impressed by this film. Obviously you think your own opinion greatly succeeds that of the other people you have commented so i doubt you will take any notice of my comment either.

  • i love you x

  • I think the stupidity of Fabio's comment is more simple than that. This scene is just hysterical. I would say what makes it more hysterical is knowing who the guy is, which Fabio obviously doesn't.

By the way, while we're on Dogma 95, something about Julien Donkey-Boy has always bugged me. One of the rules of Dogma 95 is no props. But in the end of the movie he's driving around with the dead baby. I think the entire end of the movie was too over the top for Dogma 95.

  • Yes, he did an amazing job with this part. He really is a multi-talented guy.

I totally agree with you. I think they would have to confess a lot of rule breaking at the end of this film. I highly doubt that the baby was real and there was music over scenes. Naughty naughty

  • "If you understood the complex absorbing concepts of alternative cinema and the rules of Dogma 95 then you would be impressed by this film."

Yes trying to make a film while trying to adhere to a set of strict rules and yadda yadda is impressive and all that, it still doesn't keep it from being a complete bore to actually watch.

"Obviously you think your own opinion greatly succeeds that of the other people you have commented so i doubt you will take any notice of my comment either."

    Uh huh.

  • What a beautiful comeback. I'm in awe.

    Keep it up!

  • I don't care.

  • This is simply fantastic. The gas mask tops it off!

  • i love drinking out of slippers. DON'T SHIVER! (paul is mine biatch)

    XD

  • I drink out of your slippers all the time. Did you notice the squelch?

  • yeah i was wondering what that was! you evil poooole!

  • i have been waiting for someone to post this clip for so long. thank you! where are you mt. everest?!?!?!?!?

  • damnit!

  • This utterly insane scene is proof that cinema is capable of ANYTHING. Herzog's entire performance must be seen to be believed, but this brief scene is especially bonkers. What sublime depravity! I can only assume he came up with this himself, in true Dogme 95 style. Inspired.
