This was the 3rd Cirque show I've been to- I saw Saltimbanco about 5 years ago, and worked as an usher for Quidam in 2001.

I reckon it's the costumes that give them the ability to slide. It would take a while to make the stage slippery then remove it for the next act on time.

Remember that it's hard, even for a professional singer, to sing 10 shows weekly on this level. And this is an DVD were audio can be mixed and vocals can be made more smooth. In my opinion the new singers, well new 2003 and 2004 present, are not bad at all. They just have different timbres and vocalstyle and that brings something new to the shows music , and that isn't bad at all to keep to whole musical line alive trought that way.

Yes the guy's in blue are the Atherton twins. They do the Aerial Straps act. Love that act! The girl in the pink costume is Olena Durnyeva. She got injured in a terrible ski accident last year and is still recovering.

No, these are the performers from Triple Trapeze and Icarian Games. The makeup and costumes make it harder to recognize them though.
