  • The Russian alphabet was better before they removed Ѕ, І, Ѣ, Ѧ, Ѩ, Ѫ, and Ѭ. I can understand the rationale behind some of it, but eliminating і and ѣ in the 1918 orthographic reform was definitely a stupid decision.

  • Дурак не алфавит по русский АБВГДЕЁЖЗИЙКЛМНОПРСТУФХЦЧШЩЬЫЪЭЮЯ США мамабля

  • Креатив говно, автор мудак

  • Its in the office library, so I imagine that I'll get around to it sooner or later. I just have to make time for such a big book!

  • cool room and song... dskhflskdjfsldjfsdlfjsd

    dskjfsljd

  • Artes

  • That isn't a Russian accent.

  • Also, you pronounced and wrote most of the letters wrong, as well as your name. Иван Степанович would be pronounced "Ee-vaan Styepanavich", stress on the vaan and pan, respectively.

  • Whoops, I meant "Степанов", the pronunciation being Styepanav", stress on the pan.

  • I know it wasn't a Russian accent and its a poor attempt otherwise, but, its good to show others that it can be done. Encouragement!

  • haha nice!, the child in the window... hey, I want to learn russian, I from mexico, are you intrested in learning spanish, if not, could you please upload more videos? you are a good teacher, thanks =)

  • I should learn Spanish. You can't live in California without coming in contact with a Spanish speaker often. So far, I've only picked up some Spanish words, thats all. Davey is the teacher, I'm just the student repeating his lessons.

  • well if you like I can help you, what do you think? would you like to have an exchange of lenguaje?

  • Who's Raskalnikov? What play is that?

  • The protagonist in Dostoyevsky's CRIME AND PUNISHMENT. He murders two women with a hatchet.

  • I will say this, I love your bookshelves. They are more orderly than mine.

  • Thanks. I heard two different versions of the E on other sites, one "zyeay" and the other "zyah", so that might have been it.

  • Oh no! In my view book lovers are not orderly. So smitten are they with literature that they are far more likely to have books scattered all over the place. I have been told that those who underline or highlight passages in books show a disrepect. I don't buy that either. Marking books is a sign of love.

  • You should see my bedroom. 8) If you're going to pass the book along, its not a good idea to mark it, thats what notebooks are for.

  • I checked your profile. You have me fooled! If I were a casting director, I'd hire you to play Russian parts. Raskalnikov perhaps?

  • Thank you for this rather Nordic version of the Russian soul!. Very amusing. The E is more 'ye' than 'ya' and the O is a long Oh but you've taken it a bit too close to the U. Other than that, brilliant!

  • My costume budget is nil sadly. Thanks for the corrections.

  • We learn something new every day. I noticed you pronounce your name "Eee-van". Here in America everyone pronounces it "Eye-van." In my particular area are waves of immigrants, particularly from Russia, India, and Brazil. The Russians impress me as being very energetic.

As you perhaps know already, your name in English is John Stevens.

  • Whoops, didn't see your comment here. No silly. Its a pun on the English term "even steven", get it?
