Well I started my 1st loc journey with less hair than yours with comb coils. I had to keep retwisting my hair after every shampoo. But they loc'd fine after time. My current locs I started with interlocs again with less hair than yours. My locs had better staying power this time around. If you are going to start them yourself keep doing what you are doing now, researching and learning the how to's and dont's but mainly learn what works best for you.
