Our failure in the Euro is largely Donandoni's fault. He didn't juggle the lines properly, he made poor substitution choices and obviously couldn't inspire his team to do anything creative other than firing "hail mary's" in the box hoping Luca Toni would score. A very uninspired effort. With Lippi back hopefully we can return to good form...Forza Azzurri!!!!

Del Piero is okay? I believe 21 goals in Serie A is better than okay. He is on a mission and actually wanted to play for the national side. I think that was Roberto's main reason to selecting Alessandro. Are u talking about Inzaghi? If so, I gotta say Im disappointed he didn't make the cut. Bad move on Donadoni's part. Inzaghi is still in good shape, he's one of the leading goal scorers in UEFA history, great finisher with a good eye for the ball and know's where to position himself. In WC2006, he played only 18min. almost scored twice before actually scoring.
