  • Very Nice.

  • it looks like snake allright. but she has no power. and very slow. but this form certainly took long time to learn.

  • @AQScipio Really?Wow thats cool.

  • Snake style seems so very interesting...I was wondering if anyone knows a fighting style that targets the pressure points of a human body?

  • @MasterofrandomAlex shotokan is one that has more focus on pressure points than most styles.

  • @DarthRane113 Is it hard to learn? I already know most of the pressure points of the human body from my marine friends books.

  • @MasterofrandomAlex couldn't tell you I haven't tried to learn it.

  • I was disappointed that no snakes were seen performing kung fu in this video.

  • /watch?v=4gEoCCmGoH8

  • i love snake style kung fu as well as jeet kune do but im in tae kwon do, what a bummer

  • Her body is so flexible, I envy her *O*

  • This is the most horrible kung fu style ife ever seen xD that looks so ... shitty!

  • Comment removed

  • @DeepWhiteMusic Kung Fu is my life and im not only sitting infront of my PC ..but ok, if you think so ;) I just dont like the style

  • @Kiba062 okay sorry. i thought u dont like generally kung fu /martial arts

  • i can never get to her speed i try like 30 times a day but never get it oh well its time for my crane practise ttyl youtubers

  • For those who have not begun their path, dancing is a way to connect with your true self and become one with your soul. One can not defend ones self through a conscious mind, else there moves will be hindered by human flaw. You must become one with your self to master the art. Dancing helps one feel their true self so that they may become one

  • If you were to use this in combat wouldnt you break your fingers when attacking?

  • @EricCris10sen Well, yes and no. Kung Fu fighters train hitting wood with their fingers, by this way they brake their bones, but the bones in the human body can be re-built stronger than before. We can say that if you train enogh your fingers can be as hard as the steel.

  • @giventofly3 Well, your body has its limits, but to make, say, fingers 3 to 5 times stronger shouldn't be a big problem.

Not very long ago, I just couldn't do push-ups on my fingers they simply collapsed and I think I nearly broke one. But now, I can drop down on my fingers with my full body weight. When you calculate the force, it must support at least 3 times at much now.

So there are limits, but some people are very close to that limits.

  • Kung-fu is a form of art you know. So this is not just showing her "dancing" skills, but martial arts skills. This "dance" could kick pples butt...

  • excellent

  • i hate watching these exhibitions, they're nice to watch and all but they dont really show the martial prowess of the performer all that well, a dancer could do most of that with only a month of training. so much different than seeing someone do the form in a martial way, instead of just trying to look pretty for the judges and a good score... still very fun to watch though.

  • @MightySunTzu this IS the martial prowess thing. Lol. yeah dancer can learn this, but this does not mean they can use it in self-defense.

  • @NOCOMMENT3176 never said a dancer could use it a an actual martial art. just saying i dont like exhibitions because it isn't a great way to show martial prowess. i've gone to a competition with events like these and been amazed at the show and the score that the participant earned. when i tested him( exchanged basic practices/trainings) he had almost literally no roots and his bones and muscles were lackluster to say the least, although he had an amazing personality and very good balance.

  • awesome

  • this is not snake style is balerina style and i don`t care whatever you experts thinks.........that is what it is and thats all...

  • @Markousphenix You should challenge some of them to a duel

  • It's more like a dance

  • i think shes great but it looks like shes forcing it abit making it look like shes so stiff

  • @michelle43115 Because her hair is pretty. Being married has nothing to do with thinking someone's hair looks good, and because your name on here is Michelle, thought you were a woman. Please get a life and stop bothering people for your own warped sense of what is proper or not. I won't be replying to anymore of your ridiculous comments. Take that as you will. Michelle...????

  • wounderful.

  • @michelle43115 You are another one of the many people in youtube land who criticize without knowing anything. Her form is her own and does incorporate classic Snake style kata. Look at other videos and study the Snake style and you will see. You ma'am are also an ignoranus. I have been happily married for twenty three glorious years going strong. And started practicing the various forms of Kung Fu and other martial arts before that.

  • Kung Fu is awesome but the thing i dont like about it, is in movies it's the stupid noise they make each time the guy strikes

  • @Akedemix059 the shouts aren't stupid, they are an important part of helping to release inner energy and strike harder. it is hard for an ignorant person to realise but it works. plus they do this in many other types of martial art

  • @melikepirates87 im not talking about the shouts im talking about the noise they make when they strike i don't know how to describe it.

  • @Akedemix059 It is a release of energy.

  • something must be efficient in this technique bur from that video i can not understand what and how. I assume also that there are minimum 2 different divisions of snake style.

  • theres no harmony in the moves , its like a wood man .

  • @mastermobb93 Moron, Know what its like to be the snake, you CLEARLY have NO idea what this forms purpos is.

  • I like her style and her hair.

  • @mkeulr you bumbas if you wanna see hair and other stuff you go on a porn site not on kung fu videos !

  • @mastermobb93 are you kidding me....I complimented her Kung Fu style..and mentioned her hair because I think it is pretty. You sir are an ingnoranus...get a fucking life.

  • asus

Filipino:asus, suntukin mo nalang yan eh...ii yak yan! hehe.snake style snake style.pwe!

english:if your ams is iron, you just punch them they"l cry.

  • strike combined with the pricking speed to vulnerable areas, very nasty! doris is excellent!

  • Southern Shaolin style Snake Fist, is quite deadly, all the strikes are to vital areas. The fingers are conditioned to be extremely stiff, and the speed of the strikes and kicks (all of which are low) are much like boxing. You can kick ass with the hard snake style, I don't put to much confidence in the Northern style.

  • I go to a Kung Fu school that teaches Sil-Lum(southern china) which teaches the main five animals like Shaolin(northern china). We spar, do throws, tai chi, and must be able to explain the application of the techniques in the forms to go to the next belt rank. To me Kung Fu is very enjoyable to learn. I'm also interested in Jujitsu or Aikido. I also like the kung fu uniform.

  • Some Wushu competitors know the form but don't learn how to use the techniques in a real fighting situation. It's merely for competition and looks.

  • am i seeing sa pa mah there?

  • @KEVINKRUD do you study a martial art?

  • mu thai

  • @KEVINKRUD isn't it spelled muay thai?

  • lol troll

  • mu thai

  • kevinrudd rocks, muay thai dont

  • @hardrain08

    Say that to my shins!

  • lol

  • @hardrain08

no martial art is better than the next no matter what the form is. I have studied arnis for 10 years and every martial art is similar in one way or another. Snake kung fu great to watch but not very street lethal.

  • cool concept man, but i have to disagree with you there, snake form was designed to inflict permanent damage on your opponent and yes like almost every martial art it does teach the mechanics of things like neck breaking, smothering, strangling, etc.

So therefore is lethal, but only to an extent.

  • @KEVINKRUD ''not very lethal''? well I want to see anyone without proper (iron) training getting one of those strikes with the fingertips on the throat.

It ends the street fight in just TWO (2) SECONDS: Cannot breathe, no air, unbearable dizziness, unconsciousness, OVER.

  • @lympheneas

Oh please the amount of people i see get the shit beat out of them on the street with 2 dans three dans 10 years of kung fu after saying the same lines you did. The funny thing is no martial art is 100% safe on the the street not one but what is lethal on the street is the the idea of not looking like an easy target. Another thing I might add is `if your mugged by someone with a knife you wont be poking them in the throat .

  • @KEVINKRUD OH NO NO NO! YOU ARE VERY WRONG! Show me those guys with ''2 dans three dans 10 years of kung fu''. Either you (or them) are lying, or if they truly received such a training them AND their teachers are mentally ill.

Martial arts are 110% safe on the street I'll tell you why for free. When sparring with someone that does not do martial arts (''street'' people) they don't know how to block. Their way of fighting is this: I hit, I get hit, I hit I get hit, until one receives a knockout

  • @lympheneas There way of fighting in a western country like mine is shoot or stab not get hit if you hit someone with a firearm you will die Im sorry. The only way you can get out of the situation is a well timed and relaxed disarm which I would not try unless it was a LAST RESORT. Secoundly it's not the fear that gets people smahsed by 'Street people' it's the over confidence in your OWN system that will get you hurt or hospitalised.

  • @KEVINKRUD blow. A martial artist goes with much more fighting spirit because he knows that nothing can get behind his guard.

Last possible explanation for what you are saying: fear. Of course this cannot apply to ''2 dans three dans'' so you or them are lying. But below black belt, indeed if someone is scared they will not be able to perform techniques they have acquired correctly.

If you still support your comment name those guys and bring them here. We would first ask about their masters..

  • @lympheneas

Secoundly this day and age anyone could have martial arts training you simple do not know and when faced with my stuff my money or MY LIFE it's a risk im and many black belts masters are not willing to take. Anything can happen. Attackers may appear unarmed but you dont know that so you should always take the safe road. Also if you attack someone using techniques gained through martial arts training it's considered a weapon in the eyes of the law.

  • @KEVINKRUD .... your words bring sorrow...

but not all flowers were meant to blossom.

  • @lympheneas

Boards and bags dont hit back or carry knives street people do.

  • @KEVINKRUD Agreed. Also people overestimate a lot of things with marial arts. One of the most dangerous things in a fight is one of the most basic... speed. Even for a trained fighter , an opponent whose faster with always be dangerous especially in a street fight. Also a lot of street people know how to properly handle a knife. People need to cut the bullshit.

  • In regard to Wu Shu & combat, etc. Let me say Wu Shu is a modified (corrupted) martial form. It contains some elements of the traditional forms, but gymnastics & tumbling were incorporated for the "health of the people". Some traditional combat moves are retained in the forms but often not emphasized.

Nikrou- As far as developing power and then working on the moves is absolutely incorrect. The ONLY way to develop power in your techniques is to learn the movements 100% correctly....

  • Like the snake style so coo ^_^

  • it's cool until the person using it gets kicked in the jaw

  • There is something called Wu Su and I once had the honor to learn some. It was very practical and a good workout . I learned "eighteen Wu Su exercises" and Tam Tui "springing leg". It was a lot of chi kung and dynamic tension.

  • This is not traditional She Chuan. THis is a contemporary Wushu form and jsut adding snake strikes. SO so , IMO.

  • form should be faster, and more accurately...

  • That`s really crappy.

In reality, if she fought someone like that, she wouldn`t last very long.

For example, when advances, she`s just doing fancy stuff with her arms, there`s tonnes of holes and a simple push will knock her over.

The best snake is one that keeps its body moving fluidly, slowly, and attacking in bursts when opportune, instead of just running around arms flailing like a little kid.

The snake is supposed to be unpredictable, variating speeds so that it`s difficult to defend.

  • its a snake ''FORM'' -.- the style of the snake in combat its more fluidly...

  • this was a performance, not an actual fight.. if you had any brains you would know that.

  • My sifu, who is also a native speaker, informed me of the difference. He lived in china for the first thirty-odd years of his life and it is his primary language.

  • That is incorrect. The PRC restricted the practice of martial arts, so they empathised the style rather than the practicality. This is why Wushu is the way it is.

Kung Fu literally means disciplined technique. Kung Fu Wusu is disciplined technique is the warring arts.

  • i partly agree. but the commment i posted before said that the snake is unpredicable. you cant attack with no difference in spped or power. at least LOOK like you have power thenin wushu if you said wushu is a performance art. in the snake you have to have slow and fast. gentleness and power

  • The snake style is a deceptive style, you almost never attack when using it nor do you defend. You keep playing faints and dodging charges until you have a 99% chance of hitting your opponent. The idea is to take out your opponent with 1 to 3 strikes.

  • the snake like body is needed. some parts need to be slow but some neede to be fast.the point of the snake is to act like a snake. a snake is unpredictable because one sec it is slow and one sec it is fast and attacks. keep on practicing.

  • she is very good :D looks like alot of practise was involved

  • no power and too slow =/

  • You do also realize that snakes are really easy to run over?

  • her form is perfect, the point of snake is to capture the slithering movement of a snake, so you can be unpredictable. u dumbasses didnt know that did u?

  • @magicjerry92 Yes, her form is perfect, yes, we know that the point of the snake style is to imitate a snake, yes, it's unpredictable compared to more straight-forward styles...

    Did I miss anything? Oh yes;

My ass isn't dumb. A bit fat, rather pale and uncomfortably lazy, but not dumb. You could even call it a "Smart-Ass".

Why else would I think with it?

  • @magicjerry92 lol calm down

  • woot crazy booty vid!!

  • her form is sloppy and she has no power

  • Yeah =\

  • i c so its just like ballet or gymnastics? i thute wushu was also used for combat? well maybe im wrong

  • no shaolin was used in combat,, wushu is like gymnastics.. for excercise,, the competitive sport

  • wusu means warring art. wushu is over exagerated and dance like.

  • another wushu...

  • absolutely no point in improving on technique if u dont have power. build power first then work on techniques

  • This would look pretty weird in the street or a mall or something.

  • I can see the not-so-hidden Taoist Bagua influence inherently present within her form. Very educational.

  • HAHAHAAHAHAHAHHA!

  • not bad!

  • no bad but she not master

  • i think the same

  • una cosa... en el kungfu no se debe de correr nunca...

  • la forma es asino es qe qorre porqe qiere

  • ALL of you guys sounds dumb to me point blink....

  • No se ustedes, pero yo si me dejaria morder por esta serpiente...

  • based on PrayingMantisFist's apparent rude comment id jsut like to say that i think Drunken Fist is the best only because it is the most abstract of all the fighting styles i know about and i really agree with him that " if you dont know what angle the person is coming fro mon any certain issue you have absolutly no liberty to disagree with them in any way" Great video by the way Good Job

  • be more specific there are many 'drunken'styles. drunken monkey drunken tiger etc.

  • yes i study yui quan (drunken fist) and it can be deadly against an untrained mind.

  • drunken fist is for show lol monkey is for show also lol. i dont think they have any practicality

  • watch heroes of the east drunken fighter owns karate master

  • @Nikrou Monkey teaches ground fighting, if you go to an actual serious Kung Fu school that does sparring and not just forms like Wushu (a competitor sport). It we help prevent you from being pinned down on the ground. Drunken fist, honestly I'm not sure. It may just to confuse your enemy.

  • but can she take a real snake?

  • I laugh at all of you who show no respect. Your lack of self discipline makes you weak.

  • Laughing at people on the internet shows your discipline is lackluster. Shows you have no manners either. I have respect for this young lady performance. I have no respect for your ignorance.

  • You don't even know who or what I was talking about. I think it's funny when people fight over which style is better and I don't care what you think but your the one showing ignorance and lack of manners. Make sure you know what and who the person is talking about before post or you'll be the one looking ignorant. I have no respect for your uneducated and mannerless comment,I do respect you for speaking your mind though. Don't reply back with ignorant comments because I wont respond to them.

  • I appreciate the skill in wushu but I'm sick of competing against it in tournaments... It ain't friggin kung fu it's flashy gymnastics, shouldn't even be in the same tournaments as true kung fu styles, and it has no practical value for combat at all.

  • ofcourse its Kung Fu, if you check what Kung Fu really means.

Secondly, depending on their teacher they might practice applications to use this for practical fighting.

I don't practice this kind of style but I see many things I can easily use against someone attacking me with punches or kicks.

I'm guessing maybe most Wushu practitioners only do the forms though, and the true meaning behind the movements is lost so I get your point in a way! :)

    <3 all martial arts...

  • You was not trained and you don't compete in any tournaments. I can tell by the lack of respect you have.

  • huoh...

  • it is actually a really deadly style. the pressure points these guys know can paralyze you just with a poke.

  • Lol this is good for self defence against big scary AIR :P

  • that bullshit no power no technique ... zZZ

  • Is it wushu or traditional?? it doesn't look like any traditional snake i have ever seen. is it wushu snake??

  • Well, as for me, I don´t do martial arts to fight, I do them to stay in shape, inform me about their origins and culture, and because I love dinamic body movements. It gets me mad when people talk shit about things they don´t know or undestand. Martial arts are not only for defending or fighting.

  • i agree fully. I do my martial arts for exercise and to gain more knowledge of the cultures.

  • pressure points.. throat strikes.. eye gouging.. it's a very quick and accurate style.. that's a preset form .. nothing real in it.

  • her snake form looks funny

  • That is not snake style...in my 50 years of teaching snake style MYSELF!, that it nort snake style

  • PLEASE!!!! Please tell me where I can go to learn the true snake form!

  • shaolin temple

    haha

  • LMAO i loved that reply

  • I had a snake teacher. He only taught one form. It has a very old feel to it. It's Northern i origin. It's a great form. He knows more, but he retired and is going to travel the world.

  • Very artistic and graceful but I fail to see any form of 'fight pratice'

  • oddly arousing................

  • Shake it, baby! ;D

  • en que plaforma competia, la verde o la cafe?

  • en que plataforma competia, la verde o la cafe?

  • i want to learn snake

  • Partly leg locks

  • Sweet. I have more fun with Butterfly, but this is really well done ^_^.

  • is Doris Cheung single?=)

  • great traditional set !

  • fav part 00:40-00:43

  • is not called kati, its called taulu

  • Frapfreak, it's not because someone don't know that he or she's a moron! maybe they (like me to be honnest) just try to understand. When you look for a style to practice, it's importent to look upon different style and ask question about 'em -even stupid ones... sometime!- to be sure to find somethin' that fit you (and your possibility!- Threw watchin and asking we find...

  • not this, not that, dont say what you know, show it babe! not here to talk, i wanna seeeeeee

  • that just freakin turns me on

  • just watch at her ass...OMG so damn hot...and thos moves...damn i want to test her in bed.

  • zodiac330

you're an idiot if you think this is traditional. i've studeid and taught AUTHENTIC chinese martial arts for over 23 years and you obviously have no idea what you're talking about. ANYTHING can be made to have martial applications you dumbass...any movement can be applied...that DOES NOT make it traditional and that alone further proves you're a dumbass.

  • This is traditional south snake fist, it's not modern wushu, and the movements have martial application <---BOLLOCKS IS IT AND WHAT MARTIAL APPLICATION DON`T TALK SHIT

  • the moves do have martial application, thats the whole point, on what are u basing the beleif that they dont?

ure making ureself sound like an idiot, and proving the point of how good these forms are that idiots cannot see the martial application...

  • good form...however it's NOT traditional snake fist. it is CONTEMPORARY WUSHU snake fist. anyone who thinks this is traditional kung fu is an uninformed moron PERIOD.

  • Fabulous form. When she did the tornado kick, it look like she was lighter than air on the launch. Very smooth transitions, good control and certainly wouldn't want to be on the receiving end when she hits.

  • I dint like it, personally.

I think its too weak and slow.

Shes not streight, dint like it... sorry.

  • Buttous: never heard about soft styles?

  • This is traditional south snake fist, it's not modern wushu, and the movements have martial application, but you can't see them, you gotta learn them!

not all acrobatic kung fu = modern wushu!

  • Shotokan!? Don't make me laugh! Anything having to deal with Karate is pretty much useless. Shotokan is just a step higher than American Karate...lol...

  • well if you don't train hard everyday doing 500 pressups and such your not going to hit those pressure points hard enought are you, also i don't like fat people saying that karate is useless, just becuase you can't be bothered to get off your fat ass.

  • @ anarchyfever

Wow, do I really look that fat? Well, considering that I only studied Shotokan Karate for only four years, throughout my high school, I've come to the conclusion that it's not as pleasing as the other forms I've studied.

...but then again, that's my opinion. What do I know? I've only used it in real-life scenarios.

  • good for you, I only studied it for 7 years, and i've only learnt that karate should always be the last resort, so fuck you

  • @ abarchyever

Sorry, I certainly don't swing that way, but I do have a gay friend who might be interested in fucking you.
