Thanks. This is the only thing fortunate thing in foreclosureville (aka stockon, ca.) where they've stopped building and the field is wide open and the streets are closed off to traffic...makes a perfect landing strip. Best thing is no one is flying there, but myself and a couple of other flying buddies.
Samething here too... both where I currently live and used to live. The economy has stopped a lot of projects, but at least we have some flying sites out of this all!
i dont know why but when i fly rc...i get to protective and try to land it amediatly =( have any tips? i have a hobby zone firebird comander 2 and its have the size of me o.0
no..i fly perfect on simulators its just in real life... =( also i did get air hogs....flew it perfect...till it broke when some one hit it with a stic =O
I got this same thing from Toysrus. Its called Estes Sky Cruisers Radio Control Micro Airplane. It broke easily at first because it was a manufacturing defect, they put the propellers on the wrong way.. So we fixed that, then we told the company to give us a new one cause it was there fault so we got a new one and now we have two =)
sorry, I've never actually seen these on sale separately. At least for other air hogs plane, they include extras, so maybe buy another different plane and use the extras...Most of the props are the same anyways.
How do you take out the moters and thing on just the wing without damaging it? I was thinking of doing the same thing, but then I looked a the electrical parts on the wing, which have foam glued tightly on them and I was like how am I going to take this crap out of this airplane!!
The good thing is you don't have to take out the original motors. You leave them on and just split the wires at the bottom of the wings and connect them to the air hogs guts. So all you're really doing is swapping the receiver and nothing more. Believe me, if you have a decommission air hogs, you'll be happy you made the swap. Since I've made the swap, I haven't crashed at all, and I've been catching the jet for landing.
thanks. If estes would just put trim on these planes, I'd bet it would sell like hot cakes. If there is trim on this plane, I would prefer this over any of the jet made by Air Hogs.
I love the squiqqly sidewalk.

maybe get a simulator first and practice on that or get with an experience rc pilot and do a buddy box.
Or get one of them unbreakable air hogs and fly it till you get the hang of it.
good luck!

I suppose when compared to the air hogs, it is faster, but in reality it's actually a nice glider. Glides well, nice and slow.
