The International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources (the largest coalition of environmental and conservation non-governmental-organizations in the world, which includes the World Wildlife Fund and the United Nations Environment Programme, but NOT Sea Shepherd lol) has given the Harp Seal a conservation status of "least concern", the lowest possible endangerment rating. That is, they are of little to no risk of becoming an endangered species.
Beyond the basely offensive concept of comparing holocaust victims to animals, you overlook the key element of the issue, that we are discussing ANIMALS, not humans. Animals do not possess logic, self-awareness, or any rationalism. The Jews are not a race? Really? This comes as a great suprise to me, having read a great deal on racism and the holocaust, not to mention having a number of Jewish friends, including several in Israel.

This interview is so full of lies. I know you have a cause but you are lying. The hunt does not take babies. The methods used are not more brutal than any slaughter house. The hunt sustainable. The population of harp seals increased in the last 30 years. The CCG is only stopping them putting the sealers in danger.

The Seal murderers might not take the baby white pups anymore, but they certainly don't discriminate with any of the others. I'm sure they don't discriminate between a 4 week old and an adult seal. As for slaughter houses, don't assume that most of us support those either. I do not. And as for Seal numbers increasing in the past 30 years - what absolute bollocks.

We already know that the loss of market will end this atrocity. Bypass the idiots in government and be sure the world knows our true position on this in our country.
