ok people he wasn't a drinker i have read many many books on this subject and they say he wasn't and drinker. i have also seen many interveiws with close friends and family they all say the same. he said himself would NBC pay millions of dollars to someone who was loaded all the time. he was not a drinker just a good actor. when rickles talked about him drinking it was a joke. rickles is a comedian. but many others willl say seriously that he did not drink heavily

@xxcharmed1xx the cigerates did contribute to his death, but hewas not a big drinker. like i said it was an act he very rarely drank, and his was a really fit man. after his son died he let himself go, the real reson for his death is he did not have the will to live after his son died.
