No, it does NOT have magical healing powers. It is a ceremonial piece of artwork. I am in the medical profession, and I have to tell you, the act that heals is FAITH - faith in the doctor or the medicine or the operation. So it that really different from a witch doctor?
How wonderful it is, to have so many people out there that can be relied upon to believe virtually anything. We should not scorn these poor people, but instead give our thanks for those among us who can be so readily parted from their hard earned cash. Without them, the world's economy would surely collapse.
