@Hawkshadow49 well, since she hasn't answered you on here yet...i'm a 4 year flute player, and Iove it :) although, I will admit that i wish i could play something else as well, possibly brass or such for during marching band. But since you're asking for a choice between flute or violin, i doubt you're thinking marching band ;) both instruments are gorgeous and you can do a lot with them. I suggest choosing one to specialize in, but learn the other, just because a multi-player is always cool :)

@xXGreenDayStreetXx Well, our Instrument Fitting... Thing... happened a week or so ago, and I tried the flute and the violin. I was pretty disappointed when I couldn't make any notes. But, then again, I've pretty much failed every wind instrument in my life (Including the recorder!!!), so I wasn't so surprised. My final decision was the violin, I actually did pretty well with it! :)

@xXxNicolexXx016 It doesn't matter whether you're learning flute, tuba, or piano, it's always hard in the beginning. Even once you become more advanced, it still isn't easy. I mean, at advanced level it may be easy to play all the notes and rhythm, but the hard part is making music out of those notes and rhythms. So, music is always hard, but well worth it in my opinion. :)
