@NINOBROWN917 - They are identical. United Motors resells the Hyosong bikes under their name. On the United Motors bikes you might even see some parts labelled Hyosung - like the headlight, and the mirrors.
1. The light bulb itself cannot be seen from any normal angle-this means that if i were to drive by you and could see THE ACTUAL LIGHT BULB, NOT THE LIGHT IT PRODUCES, you would be breaking the law.
unless you can find a better way to attach it - i drilled 2 holes for each mounting point and ran the zip tie through there if you find a zip tie that the color matches your fairings (i used black) then it wont be noticeable
the tools i used - allen wrench ( to remove fairings), drill, zip ties and double sided adhesive.
If you are comfortable with removing and reinstalling your fairings, it shouldn't be an issue. It took me a couple hours to do the complete install, instead of using the supplied screws i used the adhesive and zip ties so i don't have screws visible, blends alot better and holds well.
that depends on the laws in your area - each state has their own. even if it is legal in your state, some counties/cities have their own ordinances not allowing it. i checked my county and there was nothing, and emailed my state trooper department and keep their reply with me when i ride. I keep keep them on as long as they are a solid color/no effects, and not red or blue. once i'm parked/ on private property it can be on anything.
Cool!

Bikertothemax1 2 years ago
@Bikertothemax1
yea so long as you follow these three rules:
1. The light bulb itself cannot be seen from any normal angle-this means that if i were to drive by you and could see THE ACTUAL LIGHT BULB, NOT THE LIGHT IT PRODUCES, you would be breaking the law.
2. No blue or red. That's just the way it is.
3. No flashing/pulsing lights.
other than that, it's free reign

look on ebay for the lights themselves, but i'd like to know where did you get the modulators to make the lights flash about like that?
steamtraintom 2 years ago
StreetGlow has the modulator. I don't believe it is too expensive, maybe in the $40 range.

i think the effect would be sooo much cooler on a chromed out Harley. that's why i'm getting the kit for my Sportster.
i have to say though, the kit is pretty bad ass on your bike. too bad it didn't have more reflective surfaces for the led's to shine off of
kjkolkowski 2 years ago
yeah, my next bike will have some chrome on it.. hunched over a sportbike isn't doing much good for my back! need to get a cruiser
tl2pacalypse 2 years ago
I got my 1200 sportster custom about 6 months ago and it's everything i could want. fast, but not so fast where it's hard not to speed all the time.
I love my sporty to death but to be honest, i can't wait to upgrade to a full blown Ultra Classic with all the accessories on it haha
ohh, and i got the LEDs put on my sporty, the look awesome with the chrome, my kit does not have the "chase" feature yours does, however.
my kit was like 60 bucks, how much did you have to fork out?
kjkolkowski 2 years ago
90. The kit actually has about 8 different patterns for the lights, I was cycling through them with the remote in the video
