I was over in NZ recently and rode the first 3 tracks- the last section here is a "proper" DH trail. It's a real buzz to have ridden these tracks, knowing they can be ridden on a 4" XC bike (if that's your fancy) but then have DH potential! Brilliant!

it s not one trail its 3. coronet peak. (which is closed to mtbing unless u walk up there) snow park, and ZOOT. if you come to queenstown check out QBT queenstown bike taxis they can get you to snow park and zoot and a few others so u can explore what there is to offer there. queenstowns unreal!!!

Arggggh I keep teasing myself with these videos. Fact is we don't have proper mountains here and it's been raining three weeks straight so trying to ride even the small hills is downright suicidal :( Damnation! Just as I got my new forks.

I swear this sport takes more focus than any other, hands down. I mean literally you have to be FULLY focused EVERY second of the ride or else you get an immediate wake up call = boulder to the face.

@laborantiazzurro1 it is mentally demanding though, you have to have the mental confidence and mental abilty to be hitting 30 foot blind gaps or drops. you have to be in the zone for a race or you crash, you have to be on the edge of you ability and pushing it the whole time.
