  • I love WRC car is better than F1 totaly. Ken block ford fiesta i love it. F1 u cant drive on roads like wrc Focus or anyother cars.. so why we take F1.

F1 is not heavy as wrc wrcs is heavy more they drive in snow in mud everywheref f1 not f1 is diferent dont compare f1 wrc because wrc car is better for other things f1 for others.

  • Get real. 3.7 lbs/hp for F1 - using 2.4L reg motor. A Can Am car (early 70's) was 1.2lb/hp max. McLaren less. 800+ hp for 1600lb car. Power to the ground is a factor of tire footprint. Torque is hp at RPM. Do your math. These are professional engineers, producing VERY specialized vehicles for a VERY specific use. Comparing ludicrous. F1 v. WRC? Trimaran v. windsurf...F1 faster? BOLLOCKS.

I'm in an F1 group. We make them as fast as we can. FYI - WRC is limited Turbo intake...

  • Do not forget that WRC has limited boost for output of no more than 300hp. Saying that F1 can hit 60mph in 1.7s is a total lie. They actually accelerate with no less than 2.1 - 2.5 seconds and even that if tires and track are burning hot. No matter the power to weight ratio, they just don't have enough traction to put that power on the ground. WRC car could easily output 500 hp with small ecu modifications. The only thing that can beat him on the road with that power from 0-60 is a dragster.

  • F1 car wins on track no competition, not even a superbike.

And let me tell you something an F1 car can be a lot faster if they want.

  • both the F1 and the plane were waiting for the WRC. it was planned to have a photo finish for all the fans to be happy.

  • Regardless of torque, it's it's power to weigh ratio in the HP or TQ shows the F1 is significantly faster

  • I don't think a rally car can win VS a F1 even in a wet track as F1 have wet spec tires and are still able to run incredible lap time in a wet track. On the snow or gravel or real life street the rally car would own the F1

  • OK, but what kind of track? Full of dust and dirt. The rally car's got gravel tyres. The Renault F1 05's acceleration to 100kph is 1.7 sec, and to 200 kph is 3.8 sec. The WRC can't reach it. So if they did this race on clean F1 track, the F1 car definitely won the race.

  • @hungreenstone i think on a sopping wet track the rally car would clock a better 0-100 than the f1, and would win if they took a full lap too.

  • Yeah but look at the road.

It's very dirty and not smooth.

You can see the F1 car is hopping and loosing traction.

On a normal clean road with heat tires, the F1 would win!

  • @GangstaDogg21 So your saying the F1 car needs perfect conditions to perform at its best. A WRC car can perform at its best in any weather on any road surface. Yeah I agree on a smooth clean road the F1 car would stomp the WRC car, but throw both of them on a gravel covered road with corners and the WRC would kick ass ad the F1 car would end up wrapped around a tree.

  • @b4igetu you know that's impossible to do

that's like trying to fly with a submarine

  • @GangstaDogg21 So then why should the conditions favor the F1 car then. Someone with half a brain could figure out the winner between the 2.

  • @b4igetu the conditions would favor both cars

    not only the F1

cause even the WRC is faster if it has more grip on dry.

  • I'm sorry but I don't think that the F1 car gave all it had. I'm sure that the WRC focus is very fast(4wd) but when it comes to acceleration( 0- whatever), horsepower is more important than torque, otherwise a 1.9 tdi engine(101 hp) would kick the shit out of a 1.6 gasoline engine(105 hp) and it doesn't. An F1 car should do 0-100 kph in aprox 2-3 secs(theoretically it could in under a second but because of the 2wd it cannot put all the power to the ground). After that, aerodinamics>grip

  • @alexfsi the tdi has better torque...but looses it all the way up to 4500 rpm..a gasolien engine has a better torque curve that's why it's faster..torque matetrs actually

  • @golf1diesel

Yes, I agree but don't you agree that the F1 car has a bigger and smoother torque curve than the WRC? My point is that the F1 car has a much more powerful and engine on a lighter body and it should've won.

  • @alexfsi smooth power curve?? hmmm bigger? yes...lighter? yes..in good conditions for F1 the Wrc car won't stand a chance:)

  • @golf1diesel

    Indeed:)

  • I'd rather drive a WRC car on a F1 track than the opposite...

  • if the pilot wasnt sideslippen,he would of one,he was sideslippen it witch made it loose speed.

  • f1 car can out perform a rallycar under

    acceleration

    braking

    cornering

    top speed

the reason in this video the road is shit and the f1 car is spinning the tyres.

  • @SpirtualSuzie The F1-car is built for a F1 track. Just put it in the grass and you will have same result but the World rally car would be the winner that time. As you can see in the video F1 is no use when the conditions are optimal for the F1-car. Brat.

  • @Chouldentfindanygood As you can see in the video F1-car is no use when the conditions are not optimal for it*

  • @SpirtualSuzie Taking off the line, F1 loses. Road is airstrip, can you ask anything better? If they used old group b rally car, it would be even faster. F1 has 300Nm/2wd and wrc has over 600Nm/awd, no matter how much horsepower you have if you cant use it. After all its all about torque and grip and WRC car performs double in both.

  • THIS IS FAKE : 0-100 kmh F1 1.7s . WRC - 3.5 F1 car in Monza, reaches 300 km/h from start just in 8 second ... This is fake, Even buggati Veyron wich has almost 3 time worse power/ weight , would easily beat WRC.

  • Stop crying, wrc cars are damn fast. Its all about traction and torgue. WRC car can hit 600Nm to ground with 4 wheels and rwd F1 has real trouble to convert all power to grip off the line before downforce kicks in...

  • @rallyramone not to forget that F1 has 320Nm :)

  • @Chouldentfindanygood I never thought it was that little, even my street driven evo 3 has double that ;D

  • that f1 is 800 plus....faggot guy knows shit

  • @andriusssska It is real. You can forget your numbers, this is real world. WRC cars have double torque and awd to put power into ground... F1 cars have only 300nm and wrc cars have over 600nm... fuck the horsepower, only matters how much you can trasfer to ground..

  • @andriusssska the World rally car do around 3seconds on gravel. I want to see the F1-car do that... Beside, the cars are built for diffrent type of use. F1-car is good on keeping a high speed while the World rally car is built for acceleration.

And what now are you bladering about Buggati Veyron?

  • WRC rocks... n 'gregorvodicar ' this video is the real deal

  • your so fucking dumb...a f1 car would destroy wrc....it weighs more than halve and has more than double power and hits 230 in no time...this vid is total fucking wierd and bullshit

  • @wr1swd84 Rally cars can accelerate 3s to 100km on gravel or snow. This is real world, no bullshit.

  • the wrc drivers and cars are very good, the f1 drivers are to, but the wrc drivers and cars are prepared to race alone, only for times, the f1 drivers and cars are prepared to race against other cars at the same time

  • hey gregorvodicar if you think video is fakelet me tell you one thing its not there are similar videos of the same check them , i actually downloaded the entire episode and edited it to post it on another forum....May the F1 test driver lost traction completely

  • I agree, rally cars have launch control, and are by Fact, quicker off the line than a F1 car. this years F1 cars dont use computer aided launch systems. It makes for better races, and gives the drivers more use in the cars.

    a fan of both Rally & F1.

  • hehe..this video is totaly faked!buemi didnt press gass for sure..formula has 2.3s till 150Km/h..rally cars have 3.5s till 100km/h..so i think this is shit!there is lot of videos where they make compare betwen real car,wrc car and f1...

  • Haha...the WRC car and F1 car finished almost equal. Rallycars rock~...

  • Erm...whys the plane almost on it's side? looks a little strange ?

  • fuckin commentator SHUT UP!!!!!!

  • Buemi is a Looser.

Pffff.. como se puede ser tan patan de no pasar de 4ª marcha? por dios...

  • WRC drivers are real drivers and not F1 handicaps. LOL WRC cars RULE!!!

  • seems that until about 200km/h Focus WRC could be about equal with that Formula 1 car

  • jeje WRC rulzzzzz :D 4wd rulzzzzz there all people see WRC have same acceleration than a f1, and a bit better for 4wd he don't less traction!!

  • first :P
