  • the intro makes me remember Contra...xD

  • @TheMetalWarrior1993 You give metalheads a bad image.

  • They sound like late Death. :O

  • For those of you searching for "Nucleus", Vektor's first demo, look up "Metalourgio Vektor Nucleus". To my knowledge, this is the first, and only posting of this incredibly rare demo. To me, it sounds better than Demolition. The only thing I haven't found from this band is the Hunger For Violence two track demo. If anyone has originals of any of these demos, I will buy them from you, just message me.

  • These guys are alright and I appreciate how they're trying to bring the old school sound back... but let's face it, this has already been done before by numerous bands. There's truly nothing like the old school thrash bands from the 80's. Overkill, Testament, Exodus, Destruction, Annihilator, Onslaught, you name it!

  • @TheMetalWarrior1993 They have a pretty unique sound and although those bands you listed are great, i put Vektor above them all. This album is in my top 5 albums out of the hundreds of metal albums i have heard, along with masterpieces like Think This, Symbolic, Rust in Peace and By Inheritence.

  • @TheMetalWarrior1993 oh another one of those "oh man thrash was for the 80s" posers

  • @HerveGamerDude Hahahhhh, you're the only poser here faggot.

  • @TheMetalWarrior1993 well im not the one thinking thrash was a fucking trend(trends arent metal) and was for the 80s, you're also joining the fucking trend of hating on the NWOTM. look again, who's the poser now?

  • @HerveGamerDude You're the poser dumbfuck, I never said I hated the new wave, I just don't like much of the new bands 'cause the majority of them to me aren't worth listening to. Thrash isn't just for the 80's but that's when all of the best shit came out... in the 80's! Ya get my point asshole? If not than you can just fuck yourself for being an idiot...

  • @TheMetalWarrior1993 no you're saying that the new the thrash bands are only doing the same thing just not as good. its not doing the same thing as long as the song structures are different, even if the vibe is exactly the same.

  • @HerveGamerDude You just contradicted yourself... I like some of the bands like Evile, Fueled By Fire and so on, but the majority of them just suck. And they basically are doing the same thing, except they're just trying to bring it back.

  • @HerveGamerDude Go eat out the pussies from Lich King!

  • I don't what fucking genre is this but sure is kicking some SERIOUS ASSSS!!!!

  • BLACK FUTURE!!!!!!!

  • in portland this wednesday.. 6 dollars.. yea i know right?

  • @sludgeco Apparently they're playing at East End on Monday which is awesome cuz I work on Wednesday!

  • fu.k you all .... this song have balls ...is best

  • cool band but logo is same as voivods and they even sound like voivod sometimes

  • brain melting riff at 2:23

  • @LoneW0lfWinter *clicks on the 2:23

    * dies seconds later

  • this is now no. 2 on my list of fav bands

    3. manowar

    2. vektor

    1. voivod

  • @megadethandbloodd Manowar should be before both of those!!!

  • Is this the new Metallica or what!?!

  • @Mctallicaful471 i think of them as the new voivod

in the case of doing their own thing instead of modern standards of thrash

  • pulentos!!!

  • I was metal before you were metal.

  • The album cover reminds me of the original Metroid. Fucking love this band, there isn't a song I DON'T like, his voice is killer, their rhythm is always fucking awesome.

  • Surprisingly good. Definitly gonna check them out.

  • listen to this album while playing Contra III

  • this album is awesome. pity it's hard to find

  • @LoneW0lfWinter it's easy, just buy it online. You really have too as a hardcore metalhead these days

  • Oh my fuckin' god! Attack of the chromatic scale! Run for YOUR LIVES!

  • They are very impressive! Just buyied the albums

  • They are very impressive! Just buyied the albums

  • Fuck the hating in metal i fucking love Vektor and Suicidal Angel still i listen to Deathcore and other scene kid stuff that you would call absoulute crap but i dont fucking care i just bang my head to FUCKING HEAVY METAL. HAIL THE THRASH!

  • Somebody forgot that their caps lock is on.....just sayin.

  • @dehauck77 NO SOMEBODY JUST MAYBE BORED TO TURN CAPS LOCK OFF.WHAT WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?IF YOU GONNA HAVE MENTAL PROBLEMS BECAUSE I WRITE WITH CAPS LOCK ON OK NEXT I WRITE WITHOUT IT

  • WELL FANTASTIC BAND I AM SAYING IT WITHOUT IRONY BUT THAT IS NOT THRASH METAL!!!!!PROGRESSIVE METAL WITH LITTLE OF THRASH BUT DEFINETILY NOT THRASH.IF YOU WANT TO LISTEN THRASH PREFER EVILE,SUICIDAL ANGELS,WARBRINGER E.T.C.IN THRASH METAL THEN POINT IS TO FEEL AGGRESIVE NOT TO REMBERER HOW MANY RIFFS THE SONG HAS.FANTASTIC BAND THOUGH:)

  • @shadowyashatoura So when a band makes you aggressive, it's thrash metal and when a band makes you remember the amount of riffs they played in a song it's prog metal. You are a funny fella, but your logic stinks.

  • @EverxOpeningxFlower YEAH I MUST BE HILARIOUS:0IF MY LOGIC STINKS THEN WHY THE MOST SUCCESSFUL BANDS LIKE KREATOR OR SLAYER IN THEIR SONGS HAVE 4 OR 5 RIFFS MAXIMUM IN THEIR SONGS? BECAUSE IN THRASH THE POINT IS TO MAKE SONGS FOR RELLENTESSS HEADBANGING AND NOT ABOUT COMPLEX STRUCTURES OR THE ONE RIFF AFTER ANOTHER LIKE PROG BANDS.IF YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND THIS YOU PROBLABLY LISTEN WRONG GENRE MY FRIEND

  • @shadowyashatoura Your logic stinks because thrash metal doesn't need to be aggressive. Some may say that Slipknot makes "aggressive" music, but are they thrash? Thank god no! There are plenty of thrash metal bands with lots of riffs who are without doubt thrash metal, Dark Angel for example.. And what is the difference between Death Metal and Thrash Metal then? Both subgenres are aggressive, so it should all be considered thrash metal? No my friend, it shouldn't.

  • @shadowyashatoura dude your the one thats wrong, there isnt a specific riff rule on thrash metal just because you cant bang your head on the same riff for a minute or not doesnt determine if its thrash or not.

  • @shadowyashatoura Student of the Kill 'Em All school of thought, huh? I'm assuming you also consider it the 'heaviest' Metallica album?

  • @LambdaObjection I AM NO STUDENT OF ANY SCHOOL.BELIEVE ME I CAN LISTEN ANY GERNE OF METAL FROM KREATOR TO BLIND GUARDIAN,FORM BOLT THROWER TO THESE GYUS.BUT BECAUSE YOU MENTIONED IT KILL EM ALL IS DEFINETILY MORE HEAVIER AND MORE AGRESSIVE THAN THIS NICE PROGRESSIVE BAND AND SO MANY MORE THRASH ALBUMS.AND FOR PITY'S SAKE TRY TO LOOK BEYOND THIS BAND.IT IS AGOOD BAND BUT NOT THE BEST BAND OF METAL.I LIKE SUICIDAL ANGELS BUT I DO NOT SAY IT IS THE BEST BAND.GET OVER YOURSELVES

  • @shadowyashatoura ಠ_ಠ

  • @shadowyashatoura WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYY CAPPPPPPPPPPS !!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

  • @shadowyashatoura you know you just make yourself look like a dumbass when you post a comment in all caps. more heavier? what are you, 12?

  • @thychaos NO YOU GENIUS.I AM JUST BORED TO SWITCH THE CAPS LOCK.IT IS TOO HARD TO THINK IT EH?

  • @shadowyashatoura god youre fucking stupid.

  • @thychaos CAPS LOCK FOREVER....CAPS LOCK IN YOUR ASS

  • @shadowyashatoura Don't you listen to them. You wanna type in caps lock go ahead. They don't own the internets, stay Metal \m/

  • @CyanideSovereign Finally one sane person.Metal greetings and to you friend\m/

  • @bombingrun19 Why because I say that for my liking is not a thrash band? That is a poor excuse friend to call me a poser.

  • @shadowyashatoura this is way more annoying than anything that guy couldve said

  • @megadethandbloodd I don't understand you. What is more annoying from what? That he call me poser for no apparent reason?

  • @shadowyashatoura its progressive thrash.....

  • Hey this Vektor is pretty cool - love Voivod and Metallica too - Who cares about influences? Metallica was influenced strongly by Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath and Judas Priest - so frickin what?

  • Someday Slayer and Annihilator had sex. their son were Vektor

  • @ThrashFantasy hahahaha

  • The album cover reminds me of Akira

  • @qu7aker or gunnm!

  • Comment removed

  • @Braenorit ignore that last comment your talking about battle angel alita right? lol my bad i dont remember it by gunnm, but still doesnt really remind me a whole lot of that show either.

  • @qu7aker yes, I was referring to "Battle Angel Alita" (the manga is named Gunnm here in France) - and i'm astonished that you don't find much resemblance. (omnipresence of ruins, brains and electric wires, to be quick =) ) - I'm not talking about the anime which is quite different from the paper version.

    Anyway, cyberpunk stuff. =)

  • @Braenorit ah in france, i see. I know where your coming from but I see the album cover more Akira-esque then BAA.

  • most excelent riffing... yes! good...

  • this is really weird, i have NEVER heard of this band until this instant...and my writing style resembles theirs...oh well im not going to stop and this song is really good

  • Ay genial rola.. Me orine xd

  • Actually it wasn't Metallica who influenced this band. Slayer would have made the exact same albums if Metallica didn't exist, because they were influenced by pure Heavy Metal and Hardcore Punk. So, if Metallica didn't exist Slayer would have made the first Thrash album, therefore Metallica isn't the reason for the existence of Thrash. Vektor is m/

  • @HereComesTheStorm33 Metallica definitely made everyone step up their game, not that it has anything to do with this.

  • @HereComesTheStorm33 actually they wouldnt have. Kerry and Tom would go see Metallica play back when the no life demo was out and they were heavily influenced by what metallica was playing, seeing exodus also heavily influenced them.

  • lalala

  • Alas, that youtube is incessant 'trolling' and people accusing individuals of being posers. It's as if it has become more of a site for blatant disregard of basic human decency and more of a place to assert ones false sense of dominance and inflated importance. Attention: I believe you've just been trolled?

  • why are you faggots talking about metallica...this is VEKTOR!!!! KICK ASS VEKTOR!!!!

  • Imo Metallica is awesome and so is Vektor. Problem? *trollface*

  • Hating on MoP but if it wasn't for Master of Puppets many of these bands wouldn't be influenced by nothing. so shut the fuck up about Metallica and enjoy the goddamn video!

  • @FrankDeathbat6661 They'd just be influenced by something else

  • Gahh I love it so much but justI don't really like those vocals! I know it's just taste.

  • Just saw these guys at their cd release show. Amazing to say the least.

  • Outstanding metal!

  • top comment is about hating another band, rather than saying anything relevant about Vektor or this song/video...how pathetic is that...posers...

  • @oakefaloskavliaris bien dicho wn.

  • @oakefaloskavliaris Am I allowed to hate the gaycore bands and screamo and emo?

  • @twitterfire Yes, absolutely!

  • yeah... the riffs are pretty progressive but i like it :3

  • all you fuckers shut the fuck up!fucking bitches!

  • First time listening to them after a guy in a record store told me to look em up.my face is melted off.

  • I would be surprised if Voivod was not an influence for this band.

  • Its so hard yo find a metal video that doesn't have metallica's name spewed all over the place. Wtf? Srsly guys?

  • This sounds nothing like Voivod..

  • fuck the new stuff

    thrash should live forever

    THRASH!!

  • Why does everybody hate on Metallica? They, along with Sodom, Anthrax, and Exodus, pretty much invented Thrash Metal.

  • @LiNaK37

they (Metallica) were the only ones who sold out an cut their hair saying "metal is dead", as if they were metal...

greedy queers crying about p2p music sharing when rhey could afford their fifth Ferrari.

thir lyrics are not gore nor satanic nir politocal enogh so they can suck dick,

    fuck off

  • @MrBloodDrive So? p2p file sharing is stealing. Plus they're isn't a rule that lyrics have to be gory or satanic, that's just stupid. Also, yeah, they were metal. They were one of the main originators of thrash metal.

  • @LiNaK37 Sodom is great, Old Anthrax is great, Bonded By Blood was the best albumb Exodus ever did and Metallica only has Kill 'em All to their name and even then its Mustaine's songs on there

  • @NuclearWasteland666 Exodus, Bonded By Blood the best? Are you kidding me? What makes you say that? It's a classic by all means, but it is easily destroyed by something like Fabulous Disaster or Impact is Imminent. Bonded by Blood is just kind of a starting point for what became a much better band with time.

  • @Bassbait which is why you have no taste in metal, you think Crapulous disaster is better than one of THE great records of all time, do you know what tone is? it the most important part of an album and Bonded By Blood has the best tone out of all the Exodus album

  • @NuclearWasteland666 What, you mean Guitar tone? The production on BBB is only ok. It's not like the amps somehow make the entire album amazing. And why would that determine how good an album is? The fact is, Fabulous Disaster has better writing and better playing. Tom Hunting does crazier drumming, Gary Holt writes better riffs and solos, and Steve Souza is a better fit for the band than Paul Baloff. I love both albums but why would you be so elitist as to dump on a great album by a great band?

  • @Bassbait Everything has better tone, and no fabulous disaster has crappy riffs, just because something is technical doesnt mean its better

  • @NuclearWasteland666 Why would it have crappy riffs? The riffs are more interesting. On Bonded by Blood, there's only a couple riffs per song, the bass drums are almost impossible to hear. Fabulous Disaster has better writing, better solos, and better playing. Why would you hate such a good album? I don't hate Bonded by Blood. You're just showing that you're close minded. It's not like Fabulous Disaster is that radically different of an album. It's just an improvement on an already great style.

  • @Bassbait the sound of the riffs suck its horrible chord progression throughout the whole damn album, learn to play music and talk with people that had been there from the start, and learn a little something called tone

then maybe your arguement will be valid

  • @NuclearWasteland666 Learn to spell Argument and maybe yours will be too.

Two years of music theory, endless years being into metal, multiple years in a band as a guitarist, meeting members of bands that "had been there from the start", all of that. Maybe your argument would be valid if it made sense. But it doesn't.

  • @Bassbait

um...arguement is spelt with the e after the u, im not sure weather its like that in USA but im from australia so its english UK as opossed to english US, but I agree with you on the rest of your arguement.

  • @doomofmalantai Well maybe it is regional, but in US it's consider a misspell to say "arguement". But maybe it's like "Judgement" where you can also spell it "Judgment". I'd take out the E in both cases.

  • @Bassbait I suggest you pick up a dictionary - argument is spelt the same in UK and US English without an e in the centre.

  • @KrikkitWarlord That's interesting, because I spell it "argument" as well, as I did earlier. Either you missed a comment or you're talking to the wrong guy, because I hardly EVER misspell something. Although "spelt" isn't a word. It's "spelled". So you ought to pick up a dictionary as well.

  • @NuclearWasteland666 Learn to spell.

  • And I'm not ignorant, I acknowledge that they've made a lot of music that isn't thrash. Well that's fine. They aren't trying to make thrash anymore. They're just trying to rock the fuck out. You don't have to like their new stuff, but you can't justify shitting on some dudes for evolving musically and putting out what they want, not what anyone else wants. Plus, what would you say to their faces? Guaranteed the shit talking would stop.

  • @kiswjustin You can't rightfully say that they were "first". It was an evolution. Venom had 2 albums under their belt before metallica, not to mention discharge who, while not outright thrash, were instrumental in it's evolution. Plus, Slayer and Exciter had albums the same year. Everyone fed off everyone, no one was "first".

  • @guyofmetal Venom WAS the first thrash band

  • @NuclearWasteland666

It was not Thrash. But Heavy. Well if i have to believe Wikipedia ^^

because there genre is Nwobhm (New Wave Of British Heavy Metal) So no thrash at all.

But they started the Black Metal scene. with there lyrics. But never mind Venom is a very good good band ^^

i have uploaded 3 shows from them On my youtube page :)

  • Fuck "Metallicunt"? Thrash metal didn't exist before they came along and pioneered it. I'm sure it would've eventually happened, but they did it first and they did it best. So many (pretty much all) thrash bands that have ever attempted to make thrash music have drawn inspiration from Metallica. Ask anyone in the game. Scott Ian, Kerry King, Jeff Waters, Gary Holt, Eric Peterson, Alex Skolnick....they'll all tell you the same thing. Metallica deserves mad respect.

  • @kiswjustin They deserved it. But now they don't. They had their chance and they failed. Also, Thrash Metal already had multiple bands before Metallica - Metal Church, Exodus, and Blind Illusion were already around. I'm pretty sure Overkill was around too. And if you look at people's influences, Metallica wasn't that big of a deal until a while after they were around. They have a bigger influence on A7X than they do on Exodus or Testament.

  • Fuck Metallicunt, this is real Thrash.

  • @QingLong90 metal is metal... god i hate fairweather metal fans that get all fanatical about the five bands they like and fuck what everyone else listens too right? got get laid fanboy and open your mind for fuck sake...

  • @QingLong90

yeah it's average for 2009, but Master of Puppets came out in 86, and makes this look amateur. But still, I've hard worse, and yep new Metallica is not as good as the old stuff..

  • @itsonlyrocknroll12 Master of Puppets is the most overrated piece of crap album ever.

Metallica wishes they could play as good as this. Master of Faggots suck ass.

  • @nmo29t Master of Faggots? Suck ass? Stating opinion as fact? Are you 12?

  • @nmo29t ORLY?

  • @QingLong90 Without metallica, there ain't no vektor. stupid?

  • @YouPuup Voivod are clearly Vektors main influence. Without Metallica, there is still Vektor.

  • @QingLong90 smh

  • so much better than godsmack...

  • hahaha disturbed is the promoted video for this.

i feel bad for people who listen to music as homogenized and marketed as that when there's stuff like this out there.

this is my first time ever hearing anything by Vektor...Im in love...this is some *seriously* creative stuff.

people hear the stuff on the radio and say music today sucks.

couldnt be further from the truth

  • i swear i just went through 6 neckbrace's rightnow >:E

  • heavy like morbid saint very cool

  • THHRRRASHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

  • This band is amazing. Glad to see a group paying tribute to classic thrash while maintaining originality. Looks like the future is going to be awesome!

  • @WY97212 No it's going to be Black. *Trollface*

  • :o

  • Awesome song. First time listening to this band. Kick ass Thrash riffs \m/

  • One of the best modern thrash bands. Damn good song too. At least it's not like this retro thrash BS.

  • @ZachHagler1018 Hey, people play the music they want to hear. If you like old school Thrash, you make old school thrash. My band happens to like 90's Death Metal, so that's a huge influence on our sound.

Meanwhile, my only problem is the emergence of constant thrash anthems, like every band has to have a song with "thrash", or "mosh" in their titles.

  • @Bassbait What's your band's name? I'll check you guys out. I do agree that all of the "Thrash" and "Mosh" type songs do get old fast. I may enjoy songs about that once in a while though.

  • I remeber putting this song in video for a 8th grade school project of my friends cleaning up a beach..... fucking awsome

  • i'm a HUGE hip hop head and i just heard of Vektor not too long ago and they are fucking great.

  • @gangstamind187 wow really? awesome, would have never heard hip hop fans would know who Vektor are cos theyre still very underground.

  • @nadman14 well i'm into underground Hip Hop (which is better than all the corporate controlled bs) so i'm open to music which not too many people know about... one of my friends told me about Vektor and i really liked "Forests of Legend"..i kept listening and got hooked..haha

  • @gangstamind187 Hey, why stop there? There's like 8 billion amazing bands you've been missing out on! And if you like Vektor, that means you've already bypassed like 5 years of progress into metal listening. I'd suggest Strapping Young Lad next, just because they're my favorite band. Look up "Oh My Fucking God".

  • @Bassbait i'm ahead in the Hip Hop genre might as well do it then..haha..i'll check them out.

  • @gangstamind187 I'm the opposite. Metalhead just getting into rap and shit, haha.

  • @Khathaar nice..haha...if you want to listen to actual talented hip hop artists/ groups check out: Immortal Technique, Tech N9ne, Jedi Mind Tricks, Necro, Aesop Rock, MF DOOM, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Prince Ea, WU Tang Clan, Slug, Atmosphere, Masta Ace, Common, Hopsin, Army of the Pharaohs, Pharoahe Monch, Canibus...that should be enough to start you off....there's a lot..

  • @Khathaar Nas- Illmatic; Big L- Lifestylez ov da Poor and Dangerous; Mobb Deep- The Infamous. Those right there are the best hip hop albums imo.

  • @Hughesy16LFC Ya can't forget, Jedi Mind Tricks:Violent By Design, Immortal Technique: Revolutionary vol 1 and 2. Ill Bill: What's Wrong With Bill? Goretex: The Art Of Dying Non Phxion: The Future Is Now Sabac Red: Sabacolypse.

  • I wonder if the cover art was inspired by the movie "Akira". Reminds me of Tetsuo's transformation.

  • reminds me of nintendo beats.great thrash soldiers

  • THIS IS SO FUCKING AWESOME. The first time I heard about this band. The vocals (Destruction-ish) are insane and so are the instruments. HOLY TITFUCKING SHIT. \M/

  • TH3ERES LIVE VERSIONS..FIGURE IT OUT..I DONT KNOW...BY EAR? FAACK

  • the cover looks like a scene out of contra! kick ass, logo's heavy on the voivod influence ;P

  • I gotta say there's moments on here that remind me of annihilator. Especially the vocals.

  • Perhaps the best band of the 2000! Vektor rules!

  • so voivodish

    so great

    so cool and thrash

    i like!!!!!!!!!!

  • @ZombieHeavyMetal Theres nothing voivodish in this band!!!!!

  • @M08bballer There is definitely a big Voivod influence, but they have their own different style.

  • @Hughesy16LFC Well how in the hell can you find anything voivodish in this? listen to warriors of ice and this, ummmmm...

  • @M08bballer I didnt say there is, just that they were obviously influenced by Voivod

  • @Hughesy16LFC YOU SAID VOIVODISH, goddamn i suggest you go to a doctor i think you might have alzheimer :SS

  • @M08bballer I didnt say "Voivodish", surely my comment was write above you when you wrote that. Vektor are clearly influenced by Voivod very much, tell me im lying. Go to the opticians cos your fucking blind.

  • @Hughesy16LFC Oh sry you were the different person than the dude who started this conversation, and i tell you that you are lying.

  • @M08bballer

Surely more Destruction than Voivod, but logo is ripped off to the edge of theft!

  • @novembrine1 well thats true

  • guys in about 1 month im gonna learn this ill make a lesson if i get enough likes cause i dont wanna do it if no one is gonna watch cause it takes alot of effort :/

  • @EXODUSJUNKY actually sorryguys i just looked at the tabs and they are wrong :P sorry for he hope and dreams slaughter buy wrong fuckin gtabs XCC

  • @EXODUSJUNKY

actually theres a full tab of this song on 911 tabs
