FIRST TIME i saw a Superformance MKIII Cobra with a different gauge layout and a tan interior. The MKIII is built by HY-TECH AUTOMOTIVE in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. CEO JIM PRICE, and only sold by Superformance. Carol Shelby Endorses the MKIII because he lost a law suit he brought against HY-TECH AUTOMOTIVE for SHAPE COPYRIGHT, but since the shape of the original car is a British AC Roadster and not designed by Carol Shelby. This is why he lost the suit.
