  • @MissFunny25 they have members from America and Canada. so they're not technically american

  • They r American bc my old orchestra teacher's sister is in this group!!!

  • Is it bad I seriously want somebody to mix this and make a rap beat out of this???

  • this is totally amazing! so cultured!

  • SHAKA Y DRES - "Ton monde" - Reggaeton Français

  • man their accents are just terrible no offence AMERCIANS I'M SORRY

  • @kyomodo they're canadian ;)

  • @Infinitygirl28 ah i read a little of them .. they from west side of canada which speaks english rather then the east side of canada which are french canadians ^^

  • @kyomodo not all the east side speak french, you know ^^' hehe I wish. Only the province of Québec, almost half part of New Brunswick, a few Acadians in Nova Scotia, PEI and Newfoundland and a bunch of Franco-Ontariens speak french. and I forgot the Franco-Manitobains, who mostly live in Winnipeg and a little amount of francophones everywhere else.

Still, we're all living in an english-speaking place...except Québec. haha

  • @Infinitygirl28 well ya i get your point but i'm saying the most its the East part of Canada speaks the most french then the west, get my point? Like Quebec(french province), Ontario, newfoundland and the labrador, New brunswick, the East part of Nunavut, right on top of Quebec which are inuits speaks french there too and maybe a little in Prince Edward Island. And in the other hand, british Columbia, yukon, Alberta and Saskatchewan not really. =(

  • @kyomodo Yes :) ... What's wrong with The west part that doesnt speak french? ^^'

  • @kyomodo I wish they were Americans. Too many American lesbians are fat.

  • @psadpoiafsdf xD I know for a fact two of them are, I asked them when I saw them live :) Not sure about the girl who vocalizes at the end, she wasn't part of the band whe I saw them. During their performance the Head of the band said they were all Americans except for him, his an Englishman :p

  • Lesbians are amazing!

  • i was viewin this video in skool and dont kno if it's either french or other languages....

  • It's French. It's basically about a guy asking a girl to dance.

  • Is it some kind of prerequisite that you have to be incredibly hot to be in this band? I don't think there's a bad looking one in the bunch of them. lol

The music is fantastic too. I hope some day can play as well as them.

  • I agree fully lol.

  • Ben sûr! Bon Dieu, c'est ça!

  • wow I like the ending

  • the guys are hot, the girls are sexy, the music is amazing, Barrage is incredible!!! I just realized I removed my own comment, wow

  • did I hear a little bit of Flight of the Bumblebee in the middle? *stares in awe*

    come to Singapore, Barrage! lulz.

  • does anybody know where I can download this song performed by Barrage? I love it soooooooooo!!!!!

  • diossss

    cómo está la rubia...

  • That's a really great Quebec song. I'm glad Canadians sung that traditional song. :-)

  • it doesn't matter what the accent is, they are simply amazing and I could love to dance the Bastringue with them, whatever the Badtringue is.

  • Hey! I didn't say that I don't like the accent. I love it! and I also think they sing it better than the original one.

I don't even know what is the bastringue is, too lol Maybe my grand-parents knows.

  • but girls in the band, I think I heard: "Je suis prêt à commencer" if you're a girl, you need to say: Je suis prête, but maybe I'm wrong.

  • surely it would sound the same as it's followed by a vowel?

  • um...good question. When we speak, we don't really notice that, with a vowel. but yeah, I think there's a little differance between prêt à and prête à.

    Are you learning French? :)

  • i learnt it when i was at school, but i left a few years ago so i'm a bit rusty now... but i wouldn't pronounce prêt à and prête à any differently...

  • yeah. it's hard. I know... well, I don't know, I'm a french-speaker XD teehee

Do you want to practice your french? My "students" tell me i'm a good french tutor ^_^ That's good, 'cause I want being french teacher as a second language.

  • they are awesome...excepted, I like the accent, but it's not appropriate for this song XD

  • @Infinitygirl28 on ce retrouve ! c,est quand mpeme bon mais je sais pas d'ou ils sont

  • @infinity0087 lol ils sont la plupart Canadiens.

  • JE FRISSONNE! :)

  • Jason graduated from my high school! He comes to visit us sometimes!

  • what is the name of the girl at the end? i've been trying to remember but now that she's been replaced by sarah bennett i can't find her name anywhere anymore!

  • BIG THANKS... This Québécois is touched and wounderful performance. Vous êtes fantastiques. Merci encore

  • no ur rite

  • NEEDS MORE HURWITZ!!!!!

  • So, any French speakers out there? What does this translate as?

  • I'm only a french student, but I can try to translate for you if you are still interested for the trnaslation =p

  • 1-In general it goes like this

Mademoiselle (Miss) would you like to dance the Bastringue?

Yes, Sir I would like to dance with you (accompany you - translated lit.)

    MUSIC

    2.Miss, you've danced ( a lot)you will get tired

Ah! but sir, I know it well

I,m ready to do it again

    MUSIC

  • 3.Miss, I don't want to dance it anymore

    Please excuse me

    MUSIC

    4. Miss...(can't get the what they say for this part), you will get tired

No Sir, I know it well

I'm ready to do it again

From a french speaker that dance the Bastringue any time he can. Choreographed for fun folk dance group, it is based on trad. first part of our square dance (1ère partie d'un set carré)

  • yep. if you still want to know. I'm not going to translate all the song. They repeat the same thing, so they sing "Miss, do you want to dance the Bastringue" then, girls says yes. They continue to dance and guys don't want anymore to dance. The bastringue is a kind of a dance, that even me I don't know what is it (and I'm a french-canadian XD) but it's also a song from Labolduc, a old popular singer from quebec
