@joe1969812 My girlfriend watches those ghost hunting shows and I used to laugh at her. I have a friend who has his own "ghost hunting" team and he knew I was a diehard skeptic. I would laugh at him about believing in ghosts and he would always tell me to come along with him sometime on an investigation and see for myself instead of insisting that there's no such thing without ever going to a truly haunted house. I went just to prove him wrong and in the end, I found out that I was wrong.

ive had numerous paranormal experiaces,and seen sum 1st hand stuff that made me know 4a fact,that ghost are real. however,i dont think this footage shows anything,and i think the villisca house is probly the most haunted place in the U.S. i have very rarely seen any actual great footage caught on video.
I will say this, though; I entered that closet, and it was the only place in the house I felt any sort of spontaneous emotion. It took a while before I could nail what I felt down as "nervousness."
Were there instances in the past where individuals in that closet were nervous? Not just murder-related, either. What if the kids regularly hid there if they knew they were in trouble and were going to get a beating? Interesting to ponder. :)
The only time I've seen the door fully open and slam shut was when the Ghost Adventures crew researched that location. We visited in May of 2011 and that door did not move an inch. I stepped into the closet and saw a big piece of black plastic taped over the ceiling. The plastic moved and swayed, and there was very little wind that day; which tells me that it wouldn't take much to move the door if it was draft-related.
There's the kids closet door moving again. I've heard that there a square hole in the closet ceiling that goes into the attic. If this is true then I suspect it's a draft that is moving the door. There are about a dozen videos showing this door opening and closing. I want to see the door fully open--- I mean all that way open and see if it closes. How bout placing a trifield meter next to the door. How bout placing some flour on the floor to see if we can get some footprints. Something.
I was in the house not long ago. Inside of the closet there are considerable sized holes and gaps in the ceiling area. (you could see the sky) . Any gust of wind outside will make the door open and close. It's an old house so there are all sorts of gaps/holes everywhere. I'm not saying it's not possible that a ghost is the cause nor do I think this place is not haunted - it does have a very uneasy feeling in there - Just the most probable cause for the closet door is simply, a drafty house.
If you look at the center video as well as the cam directly below that one, they are the same incidents. The center cam caught the door opening and a girl responding to the door. You can see it in both cams, the center and the lower center. There is a girl as well as another person on the bed. The girl responds to the door opening. Great vid!
it also looks like someone is getting on top of the bed. there is another picture through PRISM paranormal that shows a man standing on the bed. they have been told that the furniture is not where it was before. I think that the killer kept his victims still by standing on him/her while swinging the axe. this guy had done it before. some of the evp seems to indicate one person. there was lots of noise that night.
What is that darkness on camera 3? leaning over the foot of the bed? I have been there, my camera took some very strange pics, but I didn't get any paranormal stuff. just distorted images, like in a fun house mirror.
yes camera 9 is the basement. Not much down there.
