fantastic work. I just got this for Christmas and I am,apprehensive to say the least to start the trim. I have an idea I would like to bounce off of you. Sort of a reverse wash technique with a twist. Paint the parts with gold acrylic then put the foil stickers then paint over with black enamel, then pull off the stickers. If it's done with a light coats there should be very little bleeding. If there is, just clean up with thinner. Does this make sense?
what paint did you use? and for the inner frame, what color did you use? i am about to buy this kit, and i am preparing any paint i can possibly use. so your thoughts will help me so much, I like the color of the inner frame and i planning to mimic it :)
I got this kit as well. It was fun to paint though I did run out of paint for mine. I air brushed mine to get that Titanium finish. I figured it would look better if I painted it myself instead of getting the bandai titanium finish one because of all the spots you get from the trees.
Really great work. I think the gloss is very fitting for this MS. Dullcoat probably would not have looked as good. Oh, and if you're having problems with color accuracy on your camera, try adjusting the white balance. It might help with that... Can't wait to see it when it's all done!
sry for 2nd comment post but i just wanted to know and curious if u sand the surface of armours of ur gundams and for filling in seam lines do u do it or just leave it so it shows? because since u dont use primer wouldnt seam lines show o.o so ye xD
i dont sand the surface lucky on this kit there are not many seamlines a few in his legs and arms but because it's a recent kit the look like panellines so i just leave it there the old MG's showing much more seamlines...dont be sry for ur 2nd comment hehehe lol
looking sweet dust or no, space dust? putting the work into kits to make them this shiny and robust looking must turn out great in the end, like each limb and plate bursting out with a bit of radiance and power
Thnx i'd applied a glossy coat on it because this kit is made to be glossy hehe.... dunno why but it looks better I tried it first with out the gloss but it turned out a lil bit dull and boring..
