one of my favourite scenes from Supernatural ever, definitely one of my favourite episodes. I couldn't say exactly why, but this scene makes me cry, without fail, every time ... the way Sam says "Give me my gun and leave", and how Dean reacts, especially 2:44 ... you rarely ever see Sam like that!!! .... </3!

These two just break my heart! What would you give to have someone to be Dean when you were Sam in that situation? I think I'd give pretty much anything.

the best brotherly love i've ever seen on tv, its just beautiful, one of the main reasons i love this show so much, jensen and jared pull off being loving, devoted, loyal brothers so naturally, its just so believable, there's no doubt that they'd do anything for each other, thats how much they love each other and because of their great friendship in real life, the chemistry between jared and jensen is fantastic, i don't think they could've chosen a better pair to play the brothers, i love it

One of the reasons I love these brothers is beause of the interactions between Jensen and Jared. It's impressive. You totally buy the fact that Dean would do anything for Sam and they need each other because of their eyes. Eyes is the gate to the soul they say and even though its just a tv show they pull it off so well!

God, I love this scene...He never says it outright, but Sam is Dean's entire world. Since John's dead, Sammy really is all that's left in life for Dean. Same goes for Sam: without Dean, Sam's nothing. I LOVE THESE BROTHERS TO NO END!!!

I love him so much. This scene actually allows us to have a glimpse of Dean's soul without all the cocky smirks and smart-ass remarks. I personally think that he's the most complex character in the series.

I couldn't agree more. I think that sometimes Sam doesn't really appreciate Dean the way he should and in Croatoan he's facing what he's brother really is. A broken man.

I do believe that Dean has a LOT of dark secrets, especially that he was practically forced to grow up when he was four, who knows what he saw before he roped Sam up back to the 'family business'? he's attitude in 'Houses of the Holy' surely didn't come out of nowhere. Sam also didn't exactly have a childhood, but he had Dean.

This is very true. And BTW- It doesn't really matter how many times they show Dean doing everything for Sammy, I don't look at it like a scoreboard. Dean might not have wanted to look after him when he was little but it's important to him now and Sammy does save Dean, just in different ways...it's not always about saving and sacrificing from demons and so forth.

See an originally the only reason why I even bothered with this show was because of JDM him breaking fans hearts on Grey's Anatomy and besides him I'd only heard of Jared from GG. I'm glad I stuck with it because it ended up being amazing and I love the acting as well.
